playing what is popular..anyone can do..playing something original and good is what sets you apart.
As a house/techno/trance DJ, I generally play what I like, regardless of popularity. For this particular gig, I am being paid specifically to play "commercial hiphop", as the owner put it. I have little experience playing hiphop music, and while I have of course looked over charts and the likes, I was more wondering if you've witnessed any other floor fillers which may or may not be on the charts. No need for the personal attacks.
