+1.

I highly recommend The Life According to Garp, the book is much better than the film. One of the main character is a nurse called Jenny who defines herself as a sexual suspect.

Has anybody read Juan Carlos Onetti's "A brief life"? That was one of the most disgusting and unbearable pieces of junk I've ever laid eyes on.
There was this seriel of books that I bought were they published "50 great novels of the 20th century". Upon reading them I learned, that many critically acclaimed books are unreadable junk. I already mentioned Orwell's "1984" in another thread I think.

im midway to "an unbearable lightness of being" too. I read a hundred years of solitude but my favorite book of his gotta be "Love in the Time of Cholera" it is just awesome in many ways, also try to get La casa de los espiritus too, it is kinda similar.

At work right now but thanks and ya I do, I have all of the DC vs. Marvel that was my favorite series to come out, all the others I owned were lost or misplaced in my various moves. The one that hurts most is 2 stacks about 3 feet high of dragon ball-z

And what's that suppose to mean?

Posted by Omega_Blue on Aug-06-2008 22:02:

haha gay. slightly similar story, i lost this gigantic chronological x-men pack (from issue 1 to present) when i formatted my external on accident.

anyways i didn't own a whole ton of comics when i was a kid because i was broke all the time (obviously because i was a kid) but i was a huge fan of x-men back in the day. there's people out there that release scans of all the new comics on a weekly basis. weirdos.

Posted by winston on Aug-06-2008 22:03:

Because you don't appear to be bright enough..

Tip: That was racist!
