Yeah I don't really mind waiting either, I just never understood the reasoning behind digital territory restriction. Perfectly understandable from a physical standpoint. It's cheaper for record stores to buy their vinyl from a local distributor, who in turn has to wait for it to be available on a local label unless everyone wants to pay the import fees.

Please expand on this. By "best" - do you really just mean "locally known" i.e. labels that will get the release the most exposure in a given market?
