and your fervent hate is based on what claims? that russia is supporting a breakaway pro-moscow state?

so it's no big deal when US steps in to help out Kosovo? when there weren't even US citizens involved in the bloodshed there. but god forbid Russia does anything similar.

Even if clue sat on your face and farted in your mouth, you would be like "what the fuck was that?". Russia has no business in Ossetia. they then supplied ossetia with weapons, conducted bombings and provocations, etc to pull georgia into conflict. all of this over what? oh that's righ - fear that georgia would join NATO.

Russian strong-arm, mafia-style politics are well-known around the world. It's a fucking racket, lead by Putin and his chronies with a patsie Medvedev as a puppet "head of the state". Nigggaaaaa pleeeeeez!

For russia, this is nothing more than an opportunity to settle some scores, while flipping off west and saying "fuck you, what the fuck you gonna do about it?" for all the "mistreatment" it supposedly suffered. this is nothin more than an opportunity to rally the people and give them a sense of "national pride" in a country that's going straight into the shitter, regardless of it's wealth or natural reserves. this is ALL ABOUT showing the world that russia is "off their knees", while demonstrating latest military gadgets.

Show me proof that Ossetia has been Russian territory and then we can talk. Just because Russian citizens occupy the territory, does not make the country part of "russia". Ask Ukrainians about that, jackass.

Edit: some food for thought... other european countries also feel that this is Russia's invasion of Georgia. Of course, Russia will dismiss any of this claiming these countries are pro-west.

I'm not fighting for shit. But I simply disagree with you. Russia has business in an area that's definitely pro-Moscow and has Russian citizens. Regardless of what you say Georgia was the FIRST to move their military into the area and Russia simply responded to it. This is what makes it acceptable to me.

If Russia moved their tanks into the area. Squatted down and said "OK niggas this is now part of Russia." Then you might have an argument.

dont lie, if you were putin you'd be all over any sort of easy move to make sure your neighbors dont join nato.

Georgia was the prime target cause they were the largest US ally, but the US can't risk any UN Security Council vetos on Iran, which is a much bigger fish to fry.

I gurantee you now that the Czechs and the Polish will def rething their missile shield plans, and Russia will be more than obliged to help the US out with Iran.

War is an extension of politics by other means or however that saying goes and this is a prime example.

Actually, MOST of EU was STRICTLY against invasion of Iraq. However, when Bush and Co. fabricated the evidence, many have been fear-mongered into signing on. At this point the only argument I'd take is that Russia is being a bit hypocritical (Chechnya). However I think Ossetia has the right to a separatist movement should it want to do so. As for Georgia - those ******s should've known what would happen if they marched in there guns blazing. It would be a smarter idea to go straight to the EU and handle this diplomatically. But instead they move in with artillery. What the fuck did Georgia think was going to happen exactly??
