If he considers writing English a form of art like his music,

all I know is who's NOT winning this competition.

As far as the concept I've considered it myself before but realized dry or wet isn't going to make a huge difference except one track will sound dry, and the other wet.

Your also saying no fx but maybe not understanding a few things.
The ability to emulate fx w/out using actual fx processors.

Delay: Replicate sample at lower velocity at different time.
Chorus: Multiple sample at slighlty different times, maybe small changes to pitch.
Compression: Is already an invisible fx.
I mean most fxs have a natural way of replication. So whether your using the convenience of an fx processor, they're not as much spices to music as they are really just shortcuts.

Im in if everyone else is taking part. When do we post the track? Do we synth our own percussion or can we use samples? Both methods are ok for me my self synthed percussion is not the best though.

airwalker1, you need to learn basic English. It is painful for everyone on this forum to read your posts.

1. You are using the wrong character for apostrophes. ` is not an apostrophe. ' IS an apostrophe. If you are using a standard British or USA keyboard, this is the key next to "enter", NOT the one above "tab".

2. Not every word ending in an "S" needs an apostrophe.
- Apostrophes are used to show ownership (singular - the boy's book; plural - the boys' books)
- Apostrophes are used to show the contraction of a word (she is = she's)

Below are examples of words that do not need an apostrophe. Here, you have used an apostrophe purely because the words are plural; they do not express ownership or the contraction of a word.

3. Your spelling and grammar is horrendous. Type your posts in Microsoft Word and spell check them before you submit them.

4. We use parenthesis, not square brackets, for what you are trying to do. Replace [] with ().
look mr i fuckin know correct english.Apostrophe`s are used if the object`s been -spoken- about or persons ther off ,is referd to as more then one,ok it`s old english you twat!

post date is 1 month give all take. samples are fine fine providing there not efectid so perks, drums, bongoes are in,use any thing at your disssposal providing the sounds are your own. need to make clear disstorton is fine basicliy any thing goes as long as the sounds and patterns to make your track haveint been alterd by fx`s.

Maybe it's a severe case of dyslexia?

I think there's been a bit too much bashing here in this topic.

true but the reason this little comp was made because time beening spent on your own patches synhs, percushion ,basslines ,riff`s and so on. when producers make there shit from pre programed plugins.because the hole point off music produicthion is making every thing your self.im not agaisnt fx`s i think ther grate providing there your own programed sound`s in the first place.so buy doing away with plugin`s for the comp was to teach people new methods of prod.other wise how in the right mind do you ever hope on standing out among the croud.perfict example push strange world was all hiss own made sounds
