I'd put money on a Collabs 3000 set.

Well, with Beyer vs Mull on the 10th, curious to see who Platform will be bringing in for Halloween to top that.

This will most likely be my destination on Halloween, but still waiting to see what break+enter, tempo and Sumkidz have planned. Had such a good time at the last Sumkidz party (sure, its not banging techno), that I may entertain the idea of checking them out for a change of pace.

Was that the party that was held at a church a week or two back? I heard it was a cool venue and good times...I think I was at Minitek but would have liked to check it out.

Was the weekend before Minitek, but yeah - that was the party. Killer venue, Shen played a great set, Deadbeat killed it, the other room was pretty rocking all night long. While the mixing in there wasn't always the best, the tracks / vibe / energy made up for it.

People love to diss on the hippies, but they know how to have a good time Was the most fun I've had at a party in Toronto this summer.

Sooooooo lame that I have a 9am Saturday exam. Fucking BS.

First year I don't need to deal with school! so nice In previous years I missed quite a few parties because I had to behave for school and work on essays / study for exams / etc.

Yup. I've become used to this from U of T by now. Every midterm/exam season I always have at least 1 exam on Saturday or Sunday morning. It's fucking BS. Especially in this case considering Halloween is the night before.

At least I only have 1 year left.

Are you a grad student? Because I am doing my undergrad at U of T currently, and I have never had any weekend exams..... neither have any of my friends (all undergrads)

Nope, undergraduate. My program is the only one that seems to get weekend exams though.

Man that's scheity, dude. Never had nor heard of a friend ever having a Sat or Sunday exam at UW.

That's balls, Grahamers. Not sure how id feel abt such a situation if id ever been in it -- annoyed for sure. Seems really weird to me -- an exam on the wkend.
