this happens with my bf all the time
I woke up to go pee in the middle of the night and he had forgotten to flush and it was fuckin GLOWING IN THE DARK

He's on the program called P 90 X or something insane like that... I think it's a muscle confuser (yoga, plyometrics, weight training lalalalala) Anyway it requires shitloads of these multivitamins and protein shakes... like Vivid said - if you wanna see results you have to stay active or all the carbs and protein will just go to fat storage.

Or you can just enjoy having your pee pee look like absynte

What you need to do is examine your diet, then determine what your body needs to get where you want to be.

There is lots of info online on this.

Determine your caloric intake, estimate how much you use a day, and find a healthy balance (or a slight unbalance if you want to loose weight). Find out how much protein you get in your diet, then what you need ( i.e. to add muscle, take a gram protein per lbs body mass daily).

If you dont eat fruit, vegetables and other foods that contain vitamins, take a vitamin supplement.

Just understand that these supplements are used to supplement your existing diet, and adjust your diet as you get closer to where you want to be.

This is all you need:

While I am willing to accept the basic premise that the nutritional value of fresh produce is declining (seems reasonable enough given that the taste is too), I still have not seen one iota of evidence that anything with the "organic" label is somehow better. The label is completely unregulated and tells you next to nothing about how or where the fruits/vegetables were grown. It carries about as much weight as "all natural" did a decade ago.

Oh and in response to an earlier post - vitamins won't "sit" in your system and cause problems (not normal amounts of them anyway) - you piss them out, hence the odd colour. Drinking more water just dilutes what comes out. You still need to drink a lot of water, but for other reasons.

Am I truly the only one who enjoys those muscle aches that crop up from time to time from working out, heavy lifting, or playing sports, et cetera?

Interesting. I find the sensation enjoyable for the short period of time that it lasts for.

Organic meaning, no pesticides, artificial fertilizers, or hormones.

When veggies and fruit are grown naturally even in your own backyard, there is a substantial difference between the quality and nutritional value.

Here is a study explaining the difference in organic vs conventional growing options, relating to the nutritional value.

Micronutrient supplementation is absolutely essential to longevity.

lol didn't know you were into pain

But yeah I kinda enjoy that aching feeling the day after a work out but this was multiple days of 6 hours of volleyball sessions each day lol which is a lot of squating.

In the average lifetime, a person will walk the equivalent of 5 times around the equator.

It's more effective getting nutrients from food than supplements.

A good multivitamin is a good thing have, but an appropriate diet is an even better thing to have.

If you're really concerned about your heath, the money you spend in one trip to GNC would be better spent on a consultation with a dietitian.

actually there are organizations in each province that certify foods as being organic. the organizations are chosen by the government. In order to get to the point of certification the product needs to be free of chemical pesticides, fertilizers, etc.. for something like 2 or 3 years.

The Fed's have regulations that are coming into force at the end of the year.. until then it's just been guidelines... though who's to say how strictly every one of the certification agencies have adhered to them

details are here.
