I have higher hopes this time around given this to be based off of Involver 2. If it's anything like the first one at least (haven't heard it yet).

I really have never been the biggest Sasha fan, but he's been pretty influential on the whole scene and he seems to be pretty good at what he does. I'll plan on being there as long as it doesn't sell out. Was it really that bad when he was here last year?

I hate to sound like the noob, but what is so special about Three? Honestly, I hadn't even heard of him until it was announced he was here a while back. Now he's being advertised as a headliner? Well, I may have to check him out given all the kind words I've seen.

I don't think so. The first half was definitely a bit warmuppish, but then later he started playing stuff like this, and WOOOOOOW did I enjoy it

As for Three, he was a fantastic DJ technically when I saw him, but was incredibly boring. He kept switching genres and energy levels over and over again which was just annoying.

A little info on Three: http://www.residentadvisor.net/dj-profile.aspx?id=448 I've seen him a few times and he's never let me down, very quality dj.

Three has been around a LONG time. I can remember seeing him back at the now infamous Zen Festival in Zephrhills Florida in September 1998....

If your a DJ you may recognize him by some of his production alias' Second Hand Satellites, Three AM, or Montage Men.

Three is the shit.

Completely unrelated topic here but I was googling Zen Fest 1998, Zephrhills Florida to try to find a copy of the flyer...but turned up nothing.

Interestingly enough, I did run across this article on one mans experience at Zen Fest 1997 and 1998. I think we all had some enlightening Zen experiences like this one (minus the police and arrest of course)

One Mans Zen Experience

No... it was okay. But like others have said a good half of the show was just warmup... I remember "Mongoose" being the big track of the night for me, except for Muranyi which was the encore. Nothing else had more "power" that night than Mongoose during the set. So imagine that. Just bobbing around to boring stuff the entire night pretty much...

I mean the mixing was good, the songs were new to me, etc.

And yes, I'm serious. If money is an issue, I will make sure that it's not.

as long as i have a place to crash it shouldn't be an issue. we'll talk.

loooooooooool

And clubs usually close by 3am. Most of the time they end before that though so they can get the people out the door by 3.

Better than Denver, they turn on the ugly lights at 1:45am
