I miss The Gallery like hell too

Acid Lounge has been fucking wicked lately but it's just not the same!

Someone told me that they were completely redoing that room and turning it into something else... so the news of a possible event there this fall really excites me!

Still really surprised that there is no one in there for Labour

Yes there was a few mayhem parties at system. But there was also a couple of jaxxhouses.

The gallery was just another room with music....any of the DJs there I've seen in much better venues....The only party that I went exclusively to Gallery for was Speedy J.....other then that it was just a room to go to. It did have better seating then the rest of the complex...but other then that it was pretty much just another dance floor.

I recall spending a ton of time on that outfit and ended up thinking it was a really boring party.

I love footwork too, like seriously LOVE IT

BUT

NOTHING in my eyes compares to the first parties in the gallery! One in particular last summer near the start of july i think.... it was Evan, Robb, Jelo, Syd and Deko-ze....and HOLY FUCK!! Insanity!! Best nite i think i can remember in that room!!

That was a Dirty party if I recall correctly. Was a fucking bonkers night, got out of hand

i love the Gallery too, although I can see why Guv is renovating it (if that is what they are doing). The last few times i was there it was completely dead.

The fact it isn't running during Labour of Love is a major reason why i'm not going...i find the bigger rooms are far too jammed to dance until around 4, and the Orange Room is drum n' bass this time around...which really leaves only the Drink (which is also usually rammed) and the Acid Lounge...

I think this is why the gallery was so sweet!

Its like having a footwork (ie. gallery = footwork)... but within like a 10 second walk you can go see big room house/trance in the guv, or go up to the drink for some good house with a more fancy looking crowd, or you can go to the orange room and listen to some hip hop if thats your thing...

my point is... gallery is basically footwork + options
