lol....I dunno....maybe it's just the ladytron track....I like the track so much that i'm thinking it may instantly change the way I listen to the mix from that point forward...i'm trying to listen to it over and over to pick it apart...i'm starting to like the beginning alot more....but thinking about this right now (listening on repeat)...the fact that i'm actually doing this signifies that it's a great mix. I can totally see how you may think it would drag on though....the ladytron track I love could definately sound like it I think.

Love Poundin' Sensation

ok...listened to it. The first Involver, i loved the first half of the CD moreso than then the second half. This one, i preferred the second half. It really picked up for me halfway through. But the intro was also wikked. Overall, great listen!!!

ok, i'm ready for the 2nd round!

Track 2 is sick as well. After giving this CD a few more listens I'll have to say that my favourite part is the first 40 minutes or so; right to the end of Destroy Everything You Touch. It does drag a bit earlier, but overall I think the vibe he has going is unreal. After Coleurs comes in the mix starts really jumping around and it just feels as if there's no direction to end it. Tunes are still good. But it's poorly programmed towards the end. I would've taken it in a totally different direction and a much better one imo.

I just couldn't get into it. For some reason I found it very tedious and annoying. I thought "Thank god that's over" when it was done.

*shrug*

this was pretty stale.

i would hate it less if it was not called involver. There is no drama and no high points. It is just a bunch of reworks strung together with no passion imo.

Yeah that's a good word for it. Meh works too. Yeah, meh.

haven't heard it yet but have heard a couple of the tracks unmixed on beatport. only liked one of them..other two were a little stale.

can't remember the name..at work now.

After listening to it many times, i can't see how this stuff is dance floor material... at least not in its entirety.

Too many slowdowns, too many parts where you're left hanging dry after a good banging tempo. (middle of the 3rd track anyone?)

Those tracks, most of them, by themselves are awesome, but mixing didn't result into dance floor material, more experimental than anything else.

I don't believe that the Involver sound is meant for the dance floor, so you are right. It's more of a home listening album.

Actually, for this one Sasha said it was more of the 'clubby stuff'. either way.. CD2>CD1 IMO

Posted by Orko on Sep-15-2008 22:17:

Really? Cannot see that at all.

haha, I have many different sides my friend

BTW, is it November yet?!

Posted by infinity HiGH on Sep-16-2008 02:58:

It is kinda dance floor material. It's just not pounding, in-your-face dance floor stuff.

This CD really started to grow on me tbh, but then I got the new Howells Renaissance so I've all but forgotten about "Invol2ver"

Posted by Porky on Sep-16-2008 03:22:

all u haters!

i dance to this album in my underoos and i approve!

Posted by Yohan on Sep-16-2008 04:24:

Just listened to it once so far...
First impression. Started promising, but as it went on, was rather... underwhelming.

lots of good individual tracks, but just the way this cd was put together... something is lacking.

edit: the last tune is absolutely bloody awful

Bahahaha, I knew I wasn't the only one who thought this shit sucked!
