andy was just too good...his fitness level definitely helped him and he pressured rafa the entire time. very impressed by his level of play. this was the first time i think i've seen nadal completely worn out . if murray can continue this type of play through tomorrow i wouldn't be surprised if we see him winning his first major tournament.

try ticketsnow.com or whatever. it's a subsidiary of ticketmaster and i guess it's a ticket exchange thing. i don't know anyone that has tickets.

i'm not working tonight's final - the federer/djokovic match was my big match of finals weekend

GO ANDY MURRAY!

thought i saw you at federer-djokovic but was unsure.

as for nadal v. murray, poor nadal just didn't have it in him from the very first game. murray is pretty good.

Check Craiglist, thats where I got the tix for the matches i went to at Face value or cheaper.

Although Andy's fitness level was good, I always thought Rafa's would be better. I also thought that the rain delay/day delay would help Rafa get back what he was lacking, but apparently not.

I suppose since it is Murray/Federer now, I hope that Murray wins his first major.

That is too bad!

I'm just getting home from work and I am surprised I didn't hear that he had won all day long. Did it just end??

it ended at 7, federer won it in straight sets

disappointed murray couldn't push federer but it was nice seeing roger express emotion. i liked how afterward on cbs they showed the last game or two of the 2002 final sampras-agassi.

pete sampras imo the best tennis player to have ever lived...

Posted by trunks1022 on Sep-09-2008 14:36:

anyone see me carrying the flag? not sure if cbs was still broadcasting but after roger made a lap around the court, he went back to his chair. the camera was right in front of federer and i'm right behind federer in full view of the camera. woot.
