To be honest, Bill was rather tame in his interview, no doubt he was being nice simply because Obama is such an important and sought after guest (even for an ultra conservative network) and they probably don't want to burn any bridges with him... Yet.

Well, so far it seems like Bill is getting schooled on a little thing called "Logic" and "Reason". Obama is too well-spoken and thoughtful to succumb to a hothead like O'Reilly. Obama really gets it, he understands what is going on, and he has a plan. Bill may scoff at the idea of diplomacy, but the fact is, we must remain diplomatic and rely less on our Military to get things done. I think so far, Obama has done really well. No matter how much Bill gets pissed off and raises his voice and cuts him off, Obama always has an explanation to back up his opinion, and when Bill can't argue with his reasoning, he moves on. Bravo, Obama, bravo.

I don't know so much about Americas political agenda, but Mr. O'RLY sounded like "We must invade Iran and then we must invade Pakistan, because things turned out so well in Iraq!"

Welcome to the Republican Party platform. Sickening, isn't it?

I managed to watch about 5 minutes of this before deciding it wasn't worth my time and I couldn't stand listening to O'Reilly's absurd questions.

It wasn't as if you were going to learn anything insightful about Obama during this interview anyway - from the moment it was announced it basically sounded like Obama trying to prove he could take on Faux News/Bush's puppets, and so far as I hear he did just fine. I didn't need to see it.

Posted by Alex on Sep-05-2008 15:56:

He sounded like Bill Clinton AFTER his presidency in that interview, I liked how he didn't let O'rly push him around and cut him off an equal number of times.

Obama and Murdoch had an agreement before this interview that this interview wouldn't turn into a fox news cut up interview.

*snort* ROFL *snort*

Did anyone see Jon Stewart's "priceless" commentary, including trashing of Rove & Papa Bear?

This, here, is priceless:

Why watch anything from a "news" channel that brings you this?

That's hilarious, but I'll need a source on that pic before I believe that it's real.

I did some research and it came up fake. Still funny though.

Posted by MrJiveBoJingles on Sep-05-2008 19:25:

Thought it might be fake. Although it's a sign of just how awful Fox is that I didn't dismiss it as fake immediately.

Only because Iran is a pretty big deal that I'm sure the next president will have to deal with.

Pakistan - meh. Not so much and he said Obama & McCain wouldnt invade it.

this is just teh orielly style, he trys to bring up an issue as a black and white issue, then tries to corner someone into polarizing their opinion. Obama saw through that quite easily.

To anyone with half a brain he just looks like he has 0 grasp on the complexity of the issues at hand.

"BUT WHAT IF IRAN HAD BOMBERS FLYING AT US, THEY'RE TEN MINUTES OUTSIDE OUR AIRSPACE WTF ARE YOU GONNA DO MAN JESUS FUCK PEOPLE WILL DIE OMGLKJHSLKJDHLKSJdhoiw465tb76a(*&%^*&$^&*^&^%###3!"

Really?how so? what did they ever do to your country? how are you planning to deal with them? the Oreilly way?

you dont see Pakistan as a big issue in the region? did you know that Pakistans government is almost collapsing and the muslim fundamentalists are taking over the country? and just incase you didnt know Pakistan does have nuclear bombs.

Also not to mention that they are the reason why the US hasnt been able to defeat the Taliban in Afganistan.I guess they are not that big of a deal right? lets go pick on Iran...
