There's actually a scientific answer for this in one of the science books in the plumbing courses I gotta take.
Something about if the weight of the solid is greater than the weight of water, it will sink. If the weight of the solid is less than the weight of water, it will float. So there ya go, case closed.
So I solve the mystery for everyone and then no one responds. Typical.
that's basic physics that apply to... well, everything. we wanna know why two turds that are identical in size, shape and color might be different in bouyancy. get back to the books.

I can't rely solely on physics for this one. I believe that there is a mystical power, terd magic if you will, that creates this phenomenon
