I mean, I know that you have absolutely wretched taste - but Tyas?!? The most talentless fuck of a producer to have hit the trance scene since Richard Durand?!? Say it isn't so...

I've been able to forgive so much and still deem you a highly intelligent individual - this, there may not be any coming back from.

oh no man. think he's overated as shit. think his "remixes" are pretty damn lazy and uninspired. having said that, at least he chooses decent (old) tunes to remix.

Half of you have missed the point. DJing can be a stressful yet fun job. Tour schedules are pretty hectic, with lots of flying.

I was laughing at the fact that he compared himself to a hooker trying not to catch AIDS.

RJT you don't like lift? Like just for a good sound like if you knew that tyas hadnt produced it.

whilst i agree with you re tyas, music doesn't need to re-invent the wheel every time it gets a run.

Lots of people's music doesn't need to be amazing. But he's never even made anything "decent" in my eyes. Ever.

His entire discography makes me cringe.

I basically feel the same about it as I do hard house remixes of video game scores.

Posted by Fpcookie on Sep-11-2008 23:34:

yeah! cos techno wasnt around 10 years ago!

hard house is the gay no matter what the remix

i dont mind tyas' remix of insigma - open you eyes and his remix of lost in love is ok. both should've been way better though.

Where is it that anyone has said anything like that in here?

Honestly, try harder next time. It's embarrassing to constantly witness such idiotic arguments.

Minimal != Good Music

Hehehehe. I don't like what he makes. He has some decent stuff sure but I agree with the majority that it's very bland and all to samey. Plus he remixes classics for no reason at all.
What I meant was that music is not something to get into easily so he does have a point there. He is a muppet though for saying it the way he did though.

Absolutely, and I like very little minimal.

You need to learn how to read and comprehend, because this:

Does not equal "Techno was not around ten years ago."

I feel sorry for you if you're really so dense as to think it does.

I hope you know that it's spelled "moron", not "moran"....
