My poor poor UCLA Bruins. With all the problems thsy have this year it was only a matter of time before someone tore them apart. Was hoping it wouldn't be the second game of the season.
I can't even watch anymore 
lots of high scoring today for sure. im switching between michigan/ND and the UGA/USC game. michigans freshman receiver has been putting some moves on, that youtube video is NUTS
Bout to watch the sc/st game!

THe score is deceiving.
Both D-Lines aren't doing too hot....at least when it comes to the time before OSU gave up. USC has done a good job with the blitz, though.
But, USC is making the big plays.
That's the difference maker.
OSU has given up already, which is why USC is getting to them so easily now. First half of the game, it was usually missed blitzes causing pressure. That's bad reading by the QB....
I expected USC to blow OSU out because OSU is a control-the-ball team and it's always what bites them in the ass big games...because they don't know how to react to a hot offense. It's why they lost the last two national championships...by blowouts.
Asid from all this, this season I have seem some of the WORST calls on a consistent basis in terms of reviewed plays. USC's LB was clearly out of bounds at like the 4 yard line! Yeah, they might've score after that but call it right for Christ's sake.
In each game I've watched this season, I've seen a horrble call after a review. Worst is still the Miami vs. Florida game last week where the UF player clearly had no control of the ball when he nailed the ground. They called it incomplete, reviewed the play to see if he was inbounds (despite the fact that the ball popped out as his body was still coming down), then OVERTURNED IT. God, what a horrble call! When ACC teams play a SEC...and the SEC team is home, their contract calls for the home team to get the refs...SEC refs blew that one last week. Was still a 9-3 game. Instead of 4th & 9, it was a huge 1st down and a HUGE momentum changer for the game. It sucked!
This year is a transition year for college football. A team is gonna stand out about the rest in the end, but all the big teams this year are young. Anyone who calls their team the greatest ever for that school, they are ludicrous. In 2010 and 2011 not only are we going to see some insanely good teams as they gain experience, but potentionally some great games. Miami plays OSU in 2009 and 2010. I can't wait!

I meant, at the time I started writing the post, in my eyes I didn't see anything special coming out of either team.
What I did see was OSU choking like usual and making bad decisions, not picking up blitzes, not doing any type of reads of other types.
Also showed once again how Tressel is a horribly overrated coach. When he can't win on pure talent, he always fails.
These chokes, bad coaching, etc....makes USC look better in the game than they necessarily are. That's not to say USC isn't great. They even may be the best team in the country this season. Just on this day, I think people are gonna overstate USC's capability due to the typical OSU downfalls that always plagues them in big non-conference games. That's all.
The combo-QB setup NEVER WORKS. Not in the way they did it. People say UF doing it a couple years ago with bring Tebow in worked....but uhh, they brought him pretty much for goalline sitations only...so that doesn't could. Prior was the more inexperienced. I think that's a positive in a game like this. Freshmen don't feel the pressure on their shoulders like seasoned players often do. Freshmen can be wreckless at the same time, but Prior looks to be the real deal to me. Some of the (few) throws he made, while on the run, at odd angles...they were on target. He's like a bigger Vick, with accuracy. I woulda stuck with Prior once it was obvious the team performed better with him. OSU's offensive woes mainly occured with the other QB in the game.
If OSU had better coaching and it's players didn't flustered and give up so easily, the game might've been closer (USC still wins easily, though)
OSU gave up. It was obvious as halftime was nearing they were on the verge of it. Then as the second half went along, most everyone was doing a half-ass job at trying to make blocks, hitting gaps, etc. To me, the second half didn't even really count. When the team starts giving up, you get a lot of bogus stats. INTs, Sacks, big offensive plays, etc.....it looks good on paper. It looks good to the winning team's fans. But in reality, it was just a time to stack up numbers.
In the end, I'm just glad OSU lost. Not a huge fan of USC, but I _hate_ OSU. 
As i said before, a transition year for the most part for all the big teams it seems. Everyone is young. Whoever doesn't break down...make the fewest mistakes as a team...throughout the season is going to win.
It could be a year where someone we don't really expect could find itself in the BCS.
Should be a fun year. I'm a collge football freak lol
