digweed played a few songs of ANDROID CARTEL and CHLOE HARRIS too...DIGWEED started his set quite "steady" as I would say...then went all out 3am to 4 am...

I had a good time; ran into a couple of people and met some new ones.

Everyone else trainspotted what I knew.

Woody: Yes, comparing Avalon and Vanguard; they both have their ups and downs. but I just ignore and have a good time.

Her set actually bored me. But then again I don't like that style of EDM that doesn't go anywhere.

definitely the perfect way to set up digweed. that's why he personally asked to fly her out last saturday.

a lot of openers aren't mindful that they have been booked to warm-up the crowd for the headliner.

check what she plays
- Proton Radio / B-Sides with Chloe Harris
- Youtube videos

an opener has a vital role in the progression of the night.

Most important, how was Chloe's set?

Boring. The tracks were okay but her mixing was just plain, it didn't have any kind of flow. It was like she was just playing tracks back to back in their full length.

I lol'd at the stage on top of the OTHER stage. That was hilarious.

I hope he recorded his set and airs it on the next Transitions show.

One thing I really liked about it was that it wasn't super packed at all. There was plenty of room to dance!!!

Seriously man, I second that.. I saw a typical LA Vanguard crowd and I was running all over that place. We had a group of 7 and had to lay claim to the left speaker since it was so rammed.

What was Chloe wearing?

Posted by dollaroff on Sep-18-2008 06:09:

It wasn't packed-packed (like you had to push people around to move by them), but it was definitely crowded. Plus, I moved around a couple of times because I did not have enough room to dance. I did stay toward more the middle/back of the dance floor. I thought the front was really crowded.

Wow, you need to stop.

I still love the Mayan (even though the sound system is less than good nowadays...)
