Overated DJ : Mauro Picotto, Marco V
I hate them...

Read the first line in my sig and relax..
I always though Marco V was overrated. That is untill i had the chance to see him live. Shit he puts on such a good show.

The first line in your sig.... Thats a pretty strong statement which i have to dissagree on.
At this moment, I'm at work! At home, my ICQ status is N/A!
Open your eyes, mate...

Tiesto as usual !
Hard one...in my opinion a deejay has to be able to create an energetic & kinetic (k.nattick) atmosphere...interact with the crowd...I dislike a crowd that wants to see a deejay because of his name&fame and not for his style, music or energy.
By the way: Michel de Heij is most under-rated deejay in my opinion.
Michel de Heij is more techno Dj, I saw him lots of times and he never spins trance. And in the techno scene he is really well rated! (I love techno, Dance Valley, Amnesia,...)
I think there is no overrated dj's cause they all have to work hard to become what they are now. And we are all humans, we got good days and bad days. When Tiesto, PvD, ... make a mistake 95% of the crowd watching them didn't even notice them (because of loud soundsystem,...). And when you mix in front of 20000 peeps (or more
) I can understand that sometimes they can feel stressed and then make a bad transition (I'm already stressed when there are 5 ppl watching me on my bedroom eh
)
But that's my own opinion
I can understand ppl who doesn't like those big names.
Now going back to work

all dj's are overrated on these forums and by me 2. their job isnt the most difficult when earning 1,000 an hour or whatever they get. but my vote goes to PvD, he's talked about way 2 much with his poor track selection and simple structure.
most overrated DJ : Johan gielen
Wanky Dj's
Tall Paul's background is quite impressive musically - although I haven't heard him mix live. Brandon Block is pretty dire, Judge Jules, while his mixing seems technically perfect (I haven't heard him do a bad technicaly mix). Never heard Paul Van Dyke. Josh Winks beat matching is supposed to be pretty god damn tight, whilst when I saw Dave Pearce his mixing was like a french whore, very loose.
Ahh Most over rated. If you mean over rated on mixing Skills then it would have to be tiesto, Producer Id say Darude.
paul van dyk, everytime i see him, he makes mistakes which pisses me off. earning all that money so i can listen to horses galloping.. shite
h
dj tiesto of course... =(
Dumonde
S.H.O.K.K
etc...
PvD, I think his transitions suck @$$!
Not at all my style.
So the only non over-rated dj is Armin Van Buuren
No1 spoke about him, he kicks ass
