Amsterdam is a sick track. Really gets me going. One of the top tunes of the year for me.

GUY J - Promo Mix - September 2008 (right click, save as)

Guy Gerber is kinda boring, outside of Knights of Columbus and Sea of Sand. But Guy J is really consistent with his productions, they feel very full, lush, and rich, don't have that 'tinny' sound I associate with a lot of modern day tech-house/prog.

Always loved this one.

'Agent Blue', 'Night Loss', 'Save Me', and 'Under Pressure' are also ace.

Why are you guys comparing Guy Gerber & Guy J? Just because they're both named Guy? Not fair to Guy Gerber imo

I'm pretty sure it's pronounced "Gee", with the "G" sounding like the "g" in "garlic"

So what's everyone think about his Lunar track?

IDK if its already been mentioned but I posted a link to his November 2009 promo mix. I believe you can find it through his myspace page as with many other DJs.

I'll be reviewing his album in the next few days. I'll pass judgement on Guy J as a whole after that.

Yea if we start going down that road I bet we could create a whole list of such examples

Nah, I think you're thinking of "Gui" like Gui Boratto. "Guee" Boratto.

Gui's first name isn't pronounced "guee"

It is too, I'm brazilian I think I would know. It is a common nickname derived from Guilherme, so short g + ee. How did you think it was pronounced?

Without the 'u' sound..."gee". I would have sworn he actually told me that, I guess not lol
