Really? i have that on vinyl but I don't remember hearing it. Maybe while i was on the patio. Thats a pretty heavy track but I wouldn't expect someone like Schulz to play it. Cool that he did though.

I'm not surprised as Schulz played some Klinkenberg tracks before, and he's got a very varied taste.

heck, he played Outhouse (Kanzyani remix) and I totally didn't expect that

my feet are sore but I still have a smile on my face

Good meeting up with everyone and this time was in the vip booth and got to rest my legs at the beginning of the night. As everyone said bass boost wasn't working or sumthing.. fixed half way threw! some sketch as usual..but not a pushy crowd really I found it to be normal.. As far as flow goes I kinda like the soft to hard and back again.
I was about to tear down this skasian dancing right friggin in front of the speaker (sound guy had to do it) Fav tunes are: Arnej - The Ones that Got Away, Markus Schulz - Fly To Colors (Genix Remix) and Plastikman(what a crazy remix). As much as I adore fly to colors I have never heard the original played always the Genix remix .. If you haven't bought the album progression do so .. it has been in my car on repeat for quite some time.
Another highlight was standing on the stage towards the end, Stayed to the very end SOBER the entire time (this is a first + those 5hr energy drinks really work!).....heres my pics:

DEATH LAZOR:

i just want to say the guvernment is a great space. yes there were some minor sound issues and it looks like you guys have the same patron issues we have crazians and guidos but it is infinitely better than what we have here in nyc. the key thing is space, it is a decent club with space and we don't have that. webster hall is a decrepit older building with space but arguably the floor could fall in on itself and our main entertainment is the little midget who runs around with a pimp cane or the giant mean looking transvestite. not sure about you but i prefer lasers to midgets and mean transvestites. as for pacha, it looks nice but 5 floors of small rooms is an awful idea, then splitting up the main room with huge polls is ridiculous . it has come to a point where if you don't have vip there really isn't a point in going since standing in a group of randoms barely being able to move is far from fun. having a table each time you go out imo is ridiculous. maybe the guv is not a fan favorite in toronto but much better than what we have since clubs like mansion nyc refuse to book trance djs .

c0r version: guvernment is better than any club that brings trance djs in nyc and i am jealous

Had a good time last night and it was awesome partying with all of you!!Markus's set was alright but now flow whatsoever.

Posted by smuncky on Sep-29-2008 01:39:

got in around 12.30 with endgame and made our way to the front. coming in, we were treated to some nice trance from MO which seamed fitting.

when markus came on, it seemed to me that he started where he left off from his set at A|X. it was really bumping and lots of energy considering it was only the beginning. the one thing that bothered me throughout the night was the bass. either way, overall a good set. not great but good. i'll have to agree with spainard about him not having a particularly good flow. don't get me wrong, i think the track selection was good, but in the wrong order.

i thought the tune of the night was going to be Arnej - They Always Come Back because that tune is just ridiculous. he played it at the perfect time and the crowd just went nuts to those massive epic breakdowns. however, the tune of the night came in just after 6am i think when, get this, i hear Solid Globe - North Pole. this is the muthafuckin tune of the night hands down. nothing even comes close to it. the rare gem that i haven't heard anyone play in years was dropped when i thought i had no energy left. i don't think a lot of people even knew what they were hearing. it was also great hearing universal nation and mindcircus as well. two great tracks to close the night.

the ride back however was pure hell which mimicked the night j00f played. just horrible. fucking marathon and ttc. lets just say i got home at 9.30.

it was great seeing lots of old faces that i haven't seen in ages and hope we'll see each other sooner rather than later.
