I still love the host/MC's intro and occassional, jarring interludes during the set, lol. I forgot that Sven set...definitely a good one too!

Monolake - Live @ Frigid Sydney link
Jan Jelinek @ Beta Lounge
Jan Jelinek @ Night Groove [[ LINK REMOVED ]]
are some of my fave end-of-night sets, stuff I thoroughly enjoy listening to, but unobtrusive enough that I can still fall asleep to them.
Also,
DE9: Transitions, up to the Tunnel, after that - still great, but not so much for relaxing to.
Sleeparchive PA's if I'm in the "I want to listen to something, but not necessarily goto sleep yet"

The amount of dirt that can be dug up from people you've interacted with in the scene is one thing - don't add to that by also posting about it online. All it takes is one person to say you post under a certain name and it's all out there. Why do people refuse to be safe rather than sorry on this topic? Is blabbering about how fucked up you were at some party really that worthwhile? |

| Originally posted by DJ Mach X Again, agreed... so IMO if you intend on running for political office, maybe you shouldn't have picked up that joint when you were 16, popped that pill when you were 20, or blew that rail when you were 25... and if you do intend on running still, suck it up and man up to that point and fact that you did do it, or don't be scared about it being found out. Don't be another politician who is just going to hide thier dark past from thier people and then have it blow up in thier face years later. And YOU running for political office has no effect on me posting a thread about what sets I would like to listen to after possibly taking drugs. Simply put, you don't have to participate. No one is goign to say in the future.. OMG! Senator Skipper used to be on a forum where one day a memeber by the username of djmachx implied that he does drugs. You saw the thread title, you knew what the thread would be about, you entered, you read, you posted. Don't hate on others for talking about it on a forum. I see parties advertised, I look at the flyer, check the promoter, the DJs, the venue and then make a decision if i'm going or not because of what I think is happenign there, and I don't go if i'm not down with it or don't want to be seen at that party. Same deal... I'm not trying to pick a fight, in fact I agree with you 100% on the fact that if you are worried about the repucussions of your actions or knowledge of them. You should seriously watch what you have posted on the internet because it could come back to bite you. But bit YOU, not us... You should how fast I untag pictures of myself, or request it removed by the owner and make sure I don't post pictures of me smoking. Because I don't want it found out, I have family and shit on there who would probably kick my ass over it lol. So I guess all i'm saying, much like me@tk@tie said... If you don't want to get dirty, don't walk in the mud... and if you do walk in the mud, don't tell people you did and clean it up as best you can so they don't think you're dirty... |
