Im curious as to why you chose to use my quote regarding Bush's tax cuts relating to government revenues, in order to post paragraphs upon paragraphs describing econonic and social issues that are not only longstanding issues, but issues that you even claim are decades in the making.

If you are going to argue that tax cuts have not proven to stimulate the economy, then you might as well try to pursuade me that the Ronald Reagon's "reagonomics" of the 80's were a complete failure. The one time that large economic growth is directly associated with raising taxes in this country can be said to be during the clinton administration during the 90's. And do you think it was because he raised taxes? Of course not, im sure you realize that the .com industry is directly responsible for the huge economic growth of the 90's. This is mainly because people went to buy things online because well, they were TAX FREE!!!

And what happened once taxes were then placed on the .com businesses? Yes, you guessed it, the majority of them all went out of business.

The problem this time around is that Bush's dumbass spent it all and congress let him! And BOTH parties are at fault.

The only thing I agree with you is that bush is a dumbass and he spent everything we had, but that everything was not much considering most of it has gone to the so called war effort

Now lets talk cuts

$11 billion a month for iraq on top of $400 + billion a year for military is outrages, bring all the troops back from all over the world and cut the military budget in half, build smarter weapons, invest in intelligence gathering and covert ops

The other thing that needs to go out the door is $10 billion in US aid to foreign nations, this might not seem much but I can think of many states that can use it much better than the so called allies

and as always kill religion ... well i guess that would be too much to ask for but the conversation needs to start somewhere

Iraq is costing way to much money obviously, but once we withdraw and focus on Afghanistan and Pakistan, that isnt going to be cheap either. And the new general's strategies are working out well at the moment, so lets finish the job correctly so we dont have to go back.

I do know that Obama's tax increase to those making over 250,000 is not the right thing to do for our economy at the moment. What is the first thing those getting taxed will do? They are going to follow the model of your democratic hero Teddy Kennedy and place their money over seas so they dont have to pay the taxes. Forcing the wealthy to place their money over seas is not what our country needs right now.

Taxing companies like exxon and the likes? You think they are going to stand for that? Of course not, WE will pay that tax in the form of higher gas prices.

The rich are not dumb, if you tax them, they will find a way out of it by either placing their money in foreign investment or finding a way to trickle the costs down to those making less then 250k.

And Xenpro, please tell me where this health care plan of Obama's is going to get funded from? The solution to affordable health care is quite simple. DONT FORCE THE INSURED TO PAY FOR THE ILLEGALS THAT ARE NOT INSURED! The reason your healthcare is so expensive is because you are paying the costs for all the illegal immigrants who dont pay their own bills! Look at the medical collections...they are trying to colllect money from illegals that have no intentions of paying, so what happens? They raise the price of healthcare for you and I in order to pay for it. Of course the leadership of the democratic party is not going to tell you that, because that could cause them to lose votes and political muscle.

I agree with you here. And rest assured this will have to happen one day. Probably sooner then later should we undergo universal health care as we wont be able to afford to have our troops abroad.

But this is exactly what JFK did, build up our forces and weapons technology...oh yea, and of course he also cut taxes.

Ha Ha HA...Never met this dj-Josh guy but he surely sounds like a "right-minded" political fellow!

Xenpro's candidate wants to outrageously increase foreign aide to countries around the world as a naive attempt to win back some affection. He wants to "cure" the world's poverty by throwing more of our money at it. Didn't he learn from GW? Throwing more money at a problem doesn't fix it, in fact, makes it worse.

Obama wants to socialize healthcare. So giving some 30 million illegals benefits is part of his plan. But no where in his plan does it state he's hiring 5 million more doctors and nurses to accommodate this huge influx! You think E.R. waiting times are long now? And I know so many people are avoiding careers in the medical field and ones who are already in it are leaving it because of the current status and enormous potential for even longer hours with less pay. Brilliant.
