no club would put up with the uncertainty of not knowing when a promoter may or may not want to use the venue on a regular basis. basically your big $ nites subsidize the ones that don't make as much $.

True you have a point.. I guess I meant just use Tentation and get big venue such as this for big dj's like Giant LA does events outside of Vanguard.

i understood what you meant. the idea makes sense in theory - won't work in reality.

and the only times a big dj plays outside of Vanguard is for the big 'festival' type events which take a huge amount of planning, $, etc. much different that just booking Tiesto or Ferry or Armin or Sasha for a Sat nite at Vanguard.

And already saw the "one" bad picture they have of the main area on the "home" slides.

I've been to Heat. Yes it's Funktion One, but still, the dance floor is still kinda small (kinda like Fury), and the speakers are just way too loud because it's too close to the dance floor.

When you are 3 feet away from it, you feel like your heart is being pounded and it's not very pleasant.

However, that might have just been an issue with the sound levels being pumped too loud.

The major issue I had with Heat was that it is way TOO HOT in there in the main room. The air circulation was nil and I really felt like I could smell everyone's arm pit on the dance floor. Gross.

Air was an issue @ Club Vegas as well. Air circulation is very import imo.

Giant is out on Thursdays, from what I was told last night this is due to several disputes with ownership. However my company 'Save The Rhythm' and big OC promotional group 'Ones We Love' are in. Going to be FREE for a while starting April 9th when we take over.
