I remember reading this article that said politics has absolutely nothing to do with objective evaluation of the candidate's opinions, but is purely based on fanboy-ism. I tend to agree.

The fact that I think the governor of Alaska isn't ready to run the country if something happens to the old-man and the fact that the old-man's policy is basically a replica of that of the moronic president we have now has abso-fucking-lutely nothing to do with fanboy-ism, sir.

While all you American media-brainwashed liberals sit in your circles, holding hands and singing kumbaya- convinced the world will become a better place while ripping on McCain & Palin, and blaming all of this country's problems on Bush: there will still be Muslim extremists that want nothing more than to kill you simply for the fact that you're American, and the last person we need in office as the commander in chief of a military that's defending this country is Obama.

I'd feel that way if I had served in G.W. Bush's holy army too...

For the record, Obama is not proposing to withdraw all troops from all corners of the globe. He just believes in a more educated refocusing of our resources.

It's a hard pill to swallow; that you've been the tool of a corrupt administration. Don't be one of the sad, brainwashed drones that clings so fiercely to 'the cause,' even when they're not sure what that is anymore. Turn off Fox news.

FTR, I'm voting Paul Bellini as a last minute write-in.

The point is that you don't evaluate facts objectively, but in a way that makes your favorite party look better.
Just the same way you don't aquire information about your favorite basketball team because you think you can influence their performance, but because you're a fan of that team. Youll consequently end up being biased about everything you know about your team / party, just because there's no reason for you to gain any knowledge other than entertainment and fanboyism.

How bout the fact that you're either an uninformed, or misinformed fucking idiot?

If anything, Obama's stance on many issues replicate that of Bush.
Subsidies/tariffs, more regulation, a more progressive tax code are a few examples.

But I doubt you've even looked into it... just hoppin on the TA bandwagon.

Interesting. Standard TA bailout response, too. I specifically remember DJ Mikey Mike using the same one.

This argument has been beaten to death. If you're curious to see more about my bandwagon hopping go check the other threads. Just the fact that I have to see my parents having a really hard time financially and having trouble with the mortgage and Obama promises to give them a break is enough reason for me to support him. Plus I don't fucking owe and explanation to your ignorant silly ass.

Probably goes well with the idiocy you post. A reoccurring theme if you will.

I'm guessing none of you will actually vote.

awwwww, that's sweet. Did Senator Obama tell you'd he'd make everything better for mommy and daddy?? awwwwww.... Did you get that lil... that nice lil financial sense of security when you saw him talk on TV? That's nice...

You're a political genius.

I hate delusional people who seem to think that every retarded failed policy that he stands for is going to work again. He and Gov. Palin are the two dumbest people on the planet. Keep wishing that fiscal conservatives who have made enemies with the rest of the world are going to change the fact that the whole planet hates us.

And I don't get why people believe McCain automatically has street cred just cause he's older that Jesus. Try checking his voting record champ...

Posted by idoru on Oct-01-2008 00:11:

I really don't have anything personal against people who are going to vote for McCain as a lot of you seem to have towards people such as Sukhoi and all of that. Whatever, he's voting for McCain, yay. Good for you for voting for someone who seems to represent your beliefs the best.

However, a vote in support of McCain is also a vote in support for Palin, which then leads me to believe that Sukhoi and everyone else on that side is an absolute fucking idiot and deserve a swift kick to the cunt.
