Well maybe he just needed help with making up his mind and this helped a bit? It's not like its that much of an inconvenience to us.

as mentioned above... but i'll clarify it for you.

i think you're making the wrong choice in what you're going to play.

oh these hipsters will be amused by painfully obscure ancient club anthems. besides, everyone will go outside for a smoke at this point and it's great "exit music"

anyway, what's wrong with italo?

y'know I'm really really tempted to play some hard, but almost more like speed nova .. what kind of hard dance are you thinking of in this case? just so you understand, it's really unlikely that any kind of dancefloor will manifest this time.. more of a moving/flowing interlude of social interactions

nothing wrong with italo. just the wrong style i'd imagine playing for the type of crowd he described.

at the same time this is just my opinion and it's his gig so he can do whatever he wants... i just think it's wrong. lol.

There's been plenty of dance/rock in the past twenty years. A liberal helping of that with plenty of recognisable classics in should do you.

Throw some Stone Roses/Happy Mondays/Charlatans in there too. There's loads of great stuff from the 'Madchester' era.
