There's a deli down the street from where I work that makes the best sandwiches ever. My favorites are

Prosciutto, mortadella, salami, provolone, lettuce, and tomatoes on a hard Italian roll covered with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

and

wine cured salami, capacollo, Genoa salami, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, balsamic vinegar and olive oil.

also i never won the fucking lottery you idiots

Posted by biznology on Oct-08-2008 23:17:

best sandwiches hands down:

Zingerman's

my fav is:

#74 Dave's Open Road
Grilled Amish chicken breast, applewood-smoked bacon, Wisconsin muenster cheese, Zingerman's ranch dressing & lettuce on grilled challah bread.

but everything there is sick, and a small sandwich is like 11 bucks, but sooo worth it|

Is Panera a big franchise? One opened up here by my house a few months ago and I love it, but I have never seen them before.

Anyway, my favorite sandwich there is the Chicken Frontega:
Smoked & pulled white meat chicken, mozzarella, tomatoes, red onions, chopped basil & chipotle mayonnaise, grilled hot on our Focaccia.

i love sandwiches for lunch. if i don't bring my own, there are about 8 different sandwich shops i usually choose from to get a nice cold sub. I am more of a cold sub guy for lunch.

Ya its big, but their sandwhiches are decent. A bit better than subway i guess...

Win. I get the half and half with a soup in a bread bowl. Either baked potato or broccoli cheese.

Yeah, I've tried a few and nothing was out of this world, but that chicken frontega I did definitely enjoy. I see it as the Starbucks of sandwiches. Ever since it opened it's always been packed so they seem to be doing pretty good.

Cream of Wild Rice is the bomb in a bread bowl.

I have no clue if they are "big" but they seem to be relatively large. They have locations in the US and Canada.

Comparing the two is like trying to compare a BMW to a Kia or some shit brand like that. It is miles ahead of the quality, taste, freshness, etc of Subway.

I have yet to try the soups yet, but I am trying the different sandwiches when I don't bring lunch.

Try the Bacon Turkey Bravo. It is fucking delicious. The other one I had yesterday (Turkey Spinach) was good, but yeah not like OMFGDIE good.

Did they spit in it?

Posted by Cloudburst on Oct-09-2008 15:42:

I like cheese on my sandwich.

Posted by elFreak on Oct-09-2008 15:44:

when i send something back i never ask them for anything else.

i hate when i order a hot sandwich that is cold...and generally the ones
i went to had some very dirty practices. They need to wear fucking hair nets...nothing nastier than chomping down on hair.

the manager always gives you some cookies and gift certificates, so at least they are cool about their dirtiness.
