i dont know but sometimes it's listening loudly to a liveset and there's a track you love, the build up... OMG
recently when I was listening to PVD @ Mayday 2001 and there wasa buildup in Madonna - What It Feels Like For A Girl (Above & Beyond remix)the feeling was better than orgasm...

For me it's when I am listening to some really sweet chilled prog trance through my discman when it's freezing cold at night, just staring up at the stars when not a single thought passes through your head, that for me is the ultimate state of trance. You have to be in the right state of mind to experience it though.

buying a room full of production equipment, learning all your skillz and techniques, working on a track for hours upon hours, sending your demo CD's to lables all across europe, and then finaly landing a record deal. and going to a club, and YOUR track is being pumped out of the speakers and everyone is liking it.

never happend to me yet, but I assume it will be the best feeling ever when I experience it.

I have to agree with vmc on that.

I like the feeling I get at work:

When there is a problem or project that everyone thinks can't be done or solved. I love to step in and help think of ways to get it done when nobody else could do it.

the best feeling in the world...is if you're ever caught in a cold rainstorm and are relatively soaked. Go home and take a hot shower. next put on your most comfortable clothes(PJs, whateva). then get into bed and under the covers. Ahhhhhhh... that feeling of warmth, and comfort is almost like being in the womb. (even better with some one there next to you).

dressed up in kick-ass clothes (I ain't talking club clothes... a suit or a tux or something really fancy, but wearing it with style, real style, and looking good on U) and stayin in a restaurant with a Martini in fromt of U, knowing the gorgeus chick in the corner has been looking at you for the past hour or so... yet still resisting, waiting, pushing it.. knowing that if u go, no matter what u say u can get a date... taking the time to cool yourself down, to be smooth, not vulgar or act like a player... and then just walk over and smile and say 'hi' and have the best night

Also, Sitting infront of my PC, pumping sound through my speakers of my favorite track of the moment, listening to the build-up and then crash in a mad way of dancing when nobody is watching like the track is endless and I just forget about everything, trying to juice up th track as much as possible, ahhhh, its like the seventh heaven for me.

i have alot of moments that can battle for the "best feeling" but i'm going to narrow it down to 3.

1. PVD
you're at a pvd show, and the MAN haS lathered the crowd up to a frenetic frenzy. he puts on a breakbeat to quiet the crowd down a bit, and all is quiet/peaceful and serene for a few moments. then you hear the buildup slowly getting louder and louder and then BAM! Paul hits the crowd with a wicked bassline and the whole crowd is on their feet dancing in unison! the electricity of the moment runs like a current through everyone and the crowd is united as one. Awesome!

2. Skiing / Whistler
You're at the top of Blackcomb mountain. It's a clear blue day and the weather is just fucking gorgeous. You look down and all you see is powdered corn snow endlessly looping over and over again into the forests,. You take a breath of fresh air and realize that you are just a mole in God's magnificience.

3. Visiting my grandmother's graveyard.
Knowing that the one person who has influenced me the most in my life, is somewhere nearby watching over me. The one spot of land on the entire planet which i find the most comfortable, is her graveyard. When i visit Vancouver, the first thing i do is get flowers for my grandmothers grave. When i visit her i thank her for making me the person i am today.

mine would have to be when you are in a club (totally sober) and you are dancing and they something happens and you are just completely involved in the music and the surroundings and you just feel the music. Once I got like this and I started dancing so hard I about pulled every muscle I had and the next mourning was hell. (I think this feeling might come from adrenaline, i don't know but it just kicks ass)

and A close 2nd would be doing something wrong, like cheating on your girlfriend like you know its wrong, you know you are an ass for doing it, but you just have to because its wrong. This has nothing to do with the sex at all It could be the worst sex of your life, but the fact that it is the wrong thing to do just makes it sooo good.

for me probably when im listening to an amazing tune and i know the break is about to come, i get a rush from the anticipation and when it hits i get chills and drift away in a trance, powerful

its also nice when you goto bed at the end of a hard day, exhausted you just lay comfortably and goto sleep

its also great when you achieve a long term goal...
