Originally posted by djjoshuaallen hi rich, i just wanted to show you that ingnorance doesnt have a politial party affiliation or a vote for the presidency. It can be exposed in the obama supporters just as much as the mccain supporters, and in many geographic locations.

Originally posted by epic007 I agree... There a good chance that over 50% of the American voters dont have a clue of whats going on. All they know is that there is an eletion every four years and they get a chance to vote. Most Americans only open their eyes to the canidates around 18 months before election day. Some wont admit, but their decision are made complete bullshit information and any other personal reasons. Does race play a factor in this election? In this case...yes! Black people ARE voting for Obama, just as white people ARE voting for Mccain, because thats the mindset that has been put into our society. It's nothing new, just a representaion of the past 200 years of this country. It's a situation on both sides... the canidates are going to get support of individuals that share the same skin color. Overall, it's really interesting how so many people are involve with this election. Would this be such a hot topic if both canidates were the white? Probably not... Lastly, the amount of info that many find themselves repeating is just plain ignorant. Many voters begin defending themselves with quoting some shit they heard on the news or because some ass on CNN "said so". It's really funny how people only know what they hear on tv. Why is it so easy to believe everything now. You could quote all you want and post all this bullshit articles on here thinking you have a reliable source, but the fact of the matter is you dont have a clue yourself and you're letting a random article defend your position. I'm not targeting anyone in particular, but if you dont have a reliabe source, dont let a artical validate your opinion. Honestly, I dont think we have the truth when it comes to receiving the news. The shit is doctered and also steered in the intrest of certain lobbyist and other interest groups. They tell us what they want us to hear. I could care less if you listen to all the talk radio shows and watch every news channel. In the end, you're just a puppet dancing to their beat....
If all US registered TA members were asked for their political affiliation between the 2 main parties what percent would be
Democrat:

if you're trying to tell me that most americans (or most people in general) are ignorant and naive, you won't find much argument from me. but again, that wasn't the point of my post. my point is not about republicans or conservatives, but mccain-palin supporters - who are a special kind of asshole.

Originally posted by djjoshuaallen these forums are for us, and look how many responses and hits this thread has already got. Well done rich! we may have something in common, which is a love for edm, that i think is what will save our friendships when we disagree politically. But there is alot going on we are interested in outside of clubbing and music, the community can express that in these forums, i see no problem with that. Dont take anything here to seriously, that will ruin the boards

Originally posted by JCIZZLE! I watch all the dirty low down shit the media feeds us and it terrifies me knowing that there are people outthere who will vote on the basis of lies and propaganda and not on actual facts. Sorry, but not all blacks are voting for Obama and thank God there are plenty of whites who have a brain and have evolved from judging the surface so that a black man can stand a chance in hell of winning the presidency in this country. I for one don't give a shit if a man is purple as long as his policies make sense and are in the best interest of the country as a whole and not that of the special interest groups. Sarah Palin is a puppet of the GOP to cater to the largest group of voters in the country, white women. She seriously reminds me of a gossiping drama causing neighbor, a desperate house wife if you will.
Josh do your conservative values have anything to do with religious belief?

Make sure you register first (post office) .. you will get a voter notification and a sample ballot in the mail this will tell you where to vote ... this is setup so you can vote for local, state and house representatives as part of the district you are in
