exactly...i think you hit it on the head - and this is why this is so important to vote NO on prop 8. this is the same arguement as...whites drink from this fountain and blacks have to drink from the other fountain...it's the same water though, right?

You can't teach a dumb dog new tricks. Religious people are the dumb dogs for the most part. They think they are all right, and that because their god said so, that everyone should be forced to believe as them.

I just don't understand what the big deal is really. How is gay people getting married infringing upon anyone else's rights? Totally blows my mind.

That's why I don't think the government should have any say in whether or not gay people can get married. The law is supposed to be blind to sex, religious views, race, sexual preference etc... No where in the Constitution does a right end with the phrase "except for teh gheys lol".
