-- What genre is this??

Hard House or hard dance. Really cheesy tune btw. Horrible example of that genre imo. However each to his own and I don't hold people's taste in music against them. I used to love these styles a few years back, but gradually my taste has matured and my ears have become more refined. These days I listen more to proper trance and techno.
I think you should look into some early BK and Nick Sentience stuff.

I have some BK songs already. Not bad. I'll check out Nick.

I wouldn't question the maturity of the senior members here, if you want blood you'll get it. Don't take things too personally, you'll just end up breaking yourself.

Sorry mate but that is bullshit!

The fact is that although many hostile forum members would claim to be 'sound people in real life', the stuff that you can be bothered to actually write down when you're at your computer, in your own comfortable environment is likely to be a pretty good reflection of how much of a pathetic excuse for a person you are.

I mean look at some of the examples on this thread:
quote:
you want serious reply, I'll give you serious reply THAT TRACK IS WORTHLESS PIECE OF SHIT AND U SHOULD DELETE IT AND NEVER HEART YOUR EARS WITH THOSE TYPE OF TRACKS L O L

This guy is obviously a genius. I'm sure that a load of people actually lol'd at the sheer brilliance of this statement (though i suppose I did have a bit of a laugh about the ironic spelling mistake). End of the day he has spent time downloading and listening to the file and then posted some stupid insult that isnt remotely funny. Forums are a place to get information on things, and you have to sift through hundreds of posts that are just nonsense and dont help anyone. 'Blueboysause' is right - it is exactly the kind of thing that little boys do at school to try and look cool in front of their mates.

Anyway, please enlighten me to this bigger picture? Its got me completely stumped. Is it something to do with 'if we keep our forums full of ****s then it might make dance music less commercial'? I wish all the cocky 'senior members' would get the bigger picture too - no ones laughing at your stupid little comments, and your wasting your time posting them

I have no beef with the op, I'd say I did a pretty good job of making this thread a bit more humane.

You should rethink that statement where you call me pathetic, or attack the persons who actually wrote down those stupidass comments.

You're talking to the wrong person or you're talking out your ass.

No he doesn't mean to say you're pathetic. He meant the people that made the rude comments are. He's not trying to offend you he just means to back up my argument.

Nice to know there's at least one other person that understands the problem here. Haha thanks for backing me up man.

Then he should probably direct the comments at who ever did that shit.

I sure as hell am offended.

At least you understand that my intention was in no way to offend you, quite the opposite.

Right now I'm actually sorry for even trying to help.

What I meant by the bigger picture is that no matter how justified your anger is, you'll still get these replies x100 if you start to (for example) question the maturity of the people here, I was just trying to tell you that you should ignore them instead of fighting back.

actually I wasn't attacking you, and my 'pathetic' comments were aimed at whoever it was whose post I quoted second time around - sorry if it felt like I was having a go at you, probably should have made more effort to make that clear

No worries mate, didn't think you was that thick.

It's not that bad at all
I like it, brings back some memories.
So many love tracks like this.

Think it has a pitched up club house rhythm, which I really like.
But some would call it Techno...

To me it's not hard trance.
Hard dance and nrg doesn't tell me a lot.

Similar?

Porn kings - Up to no good

DJ SUPREME - THA WILDSTYLE (KLUBBHEADS REMIX)

That makes more sense actually, what you meant by the "big picture". But I'm not one for walking away from problems, it's just the way I roll.

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with your point of view either, as long as you have the words to back up your views, which you seem to have

I wouldn't call it walking away though, more like not voluntarily poking a beehive.

Yeah those songs are definitely similar. I guess both NRG and Hard House make the most sense at the moment. After looking through both genres I found a whole bunch of songs that are similar.

Would anybody care to help me understand what genre this song would be labeled as?

My guess is some form of hard or tribal trance?

I'd say Hard Trance or Hard Acid Trance. It's a cool song but sounds only like something to accompany beating the shit senselessly out of some outdated electronic device that stopped working. This music reminds me of going to those arcade raves where the white people dance in the front looking like complete idiots while the e-tarded fresh-off-the-rice asians try to play video games in the back.

If you could also help me figure out what other artists or songs would be similar, that would be a help too thanks .

BTW, this was the song that got me into electronic music back in 2001. :P Now it's my life, awesome.

Sorry dude, you posted a link to a really bad cheese song.
