-- Midi-controller for Traktor?
Pages (2): « 1 [2]
i've got one more question about the korg nanokontrol.
the 18 buttons it has are switches, which would be great for assigning to effects on/off buttons for example. but can those buttons be assigned to work as normal buttons too? like when i press one, it'd jump to a hot cue point? i wouldn't know how a switch would work in a situation like that? what would happen once you press it again, so that it goes off? or would it just stay at the hot cue point until i press the button again? can someone who has experience with midi controllers and the differences between buttons and switches on them help me out here?

Sure you can use a mouse pointer to search through a track's waveform but that level of control isn't quite as precise as using a jogwheel/cd player/turntable (the latter 2 if you're using Traktor Scratch). Hell I mean that's one of the reasons people use traktor scratch dude. |
