Oh yeah and for UK people watch the advert for the cook along live... see if you watch the long version you know when he chucks the onions in the pan at the start (around the time he says "no mistakes" I think) I swear half of then miss the fucking pan!!! Hahaha

Love all the Ramsay shows and his food! My favorite chef by far.... YES! I do love the UK Kitchen Nightmares way more than the US version tho.

entertaining yes.

I appreciate. I really started liking him when I saw his UK shows. Less of the shtic yelling and more informative . That show " The F word" and UK kitchen nightmares made me really like him more. Hes fun to watch bitching people out but calmer Ramsey I like better.

Its not aussie, That was "The F word". He picked the pigs up at the start of the season and kept them in his garden until the season finale where he had them butchered and the cooks were to use those pigs as the special ingrediant. There is cooking as well as tips on cooking in that show. Its a fun watch...I think hulu or veoh has most of the first season on there.

True Genius. I really admire his business sense.

Ramsays Kitchen Nightmares helps me pass time at work. Not to be confused with Kitchen Nightmares which is the American version and somewhat diluted IMO, i find that the episodes filmed in England are less 'Hollywood'.

Thank god, literally every episode of the show is on on you tube.

Posted by fbgdavidson on Oct-23-2008 01:33:

The Fox version, 'Kitchen Nightmares' blows compared to the UK show 'Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares'.

The premise of the show is the same but the presentations and delivery are completely different. The American version is so dumbed down I can't watch it.

I love Kitchen Nightmares. So awesome when he calls people out and rips into them, lol.

Posted by Vlad on Oct-23-2008 02:33:

I just watched the episode of Mama Cherri's soul food shack... and I really want to go there and try the food. Ramsay lucked out cause the guy was a really good cook...

I love how he kept pointing out how they were serving hot food on cold plates.

Posted by elFreak on Oct-23-2008 02:37:

big nono yes.

just like when you get a salad on a warm plate yes.

Did you see the revisited episode? They bought out a lot more space to expand but went back to doing huge batches in advance. He ripped the chef and the new owner a second asshole for that.

I know someone who went there and said it wasn't good, but thanks to the publicity it was packed.

I wonder how many owners bail out after the show. I know one of the US ones did that too. He tries to breathe new life into a family business but they just use the free ad and makeover to finally get out because they realize that owning a restaurant is too taxing. Kinda weak on their part but if they suck at it...I guess its the best choice. Quitters.

If you go into this not knowing the stress behind it, youre a total wanker, yes. Running a restaurant demands your complete and total attention, yes. AND YOU CANT BE A PUSSY! Yes.
