Let's not get into the merits (or purported lack there) of individuals on this forum. The forum, nay, the World needs to exercise a bit more respect toward his/her fellow (wo)man regardless of ideological differences, I believe.

Practice what you preach? Every time one of us criticizes your conspiracy theories, all you guys have to say is, "You're a troll", "You're brainwashed", "You're working for the conspiracy"......look at my sig......are you guys really that fucking ridiculous? And you have the nerve to tell us to respect you!?...I respect those who respect me, and disrespect those who disrespect me.
BSE, generally, you're respectful, but you do sometimes throw in a bit of, "You're deceived" type shit, which frankly, just pisses me off, and proves nothing for you. I hope you have noticed I am much more willing to discuss 9/11 with you than with your extremist libertarian plagiarizing friends...Posted by Fir3start3r on Oct-31-2008 20:53:

Haha... can you blame her? Go through the littany of The One's promises:
Just today in Sarasota, Fla., the Democratic presidential nominee said that he'd:
-"give a tax break to 95 percent of Americans who work every day and get taxes taken out of their paycheck every week";
-"eliminate income taxes on Social Security for seniors making under $50,000";
-"give homeowners and working parents additional tax breaks";
not increase taxes on anyone if they "make under $250,000; you will not see your taxes increase by a single dime - not your income taxes, not your payroll tax, not your capital gains tax";
-"end those breaks to companies that ship jobs overseas";
-"give tax breaks to companies that invest right here in the United States";
-"eliminate capital gains taxes for small businesses and start-up companies that are the engine of job creation in this country";
-"create two million new jobs by rebuilding our crumbling roads, and bridges, and schools -- by laying broadband lines to reach every corner of the country";
-"invest $15 billion a year in renewable sources of energy to create five million new energy jobs over the next decade";
-"reopen old factories, old plants, to build solar panels, and wind turbines";
build "a new electricity grid";
-"build the fuel efficient cars of tomorrow";
-"eliminate the oil we import from the Middle East in 10 years";
-"lower premiums" for those who already have health insurance;
-"if you don't have health insurance, you'll be able to get the same kind of health insurance that members of Congress give themselves";
-"end discrimination by insurance companies to the sick and those who need care the most";
-"invest in early childhood education";
-"recruit an army of new teachers";
-"pay our teachers higher salaries, give them more support. But ... also demand higher standards and more accountability";
-"make a deal with every young person who's here and every young person in America: If you are willing to commit yourself to national service, whether it's serving in our military or in the Peace Corps, working in a veterans home or a homeless shelter, then we will guarantee that you can afford to go to college no ifs ands or buts";
-"stop spending $10 billion a month in Iraq whole the Iraqis have a huge surplus";
-"end this war in Iraq";
-"finish the fight and snuff out al Qaeda and bin Laden";
-"increase our ground troops and our investments in the finest fighting force in the world";
-"invest in 21st century technologies so that our men and women have the best training and equipment when they deploy into combat and the care and benefits they have earned when they come home";
-"No more homeless veterans"; and
-"no more fighting for disability payments."
This on top of his 30-minute infomercial last night, and the myriad other pledges and promises he's made throughout the last 21 months
BY THE WAY... anyone else notice how the $250K "rich cap" to get the tax increases went to $200K, then $150K, now Bill Richardson of New Mexico today said it would be $120K? unreal

fortunately bill richardson isn't important. however, since the election appeared to be a lock, i haven't been paying much attention to recent campaign rhetoric. The only tax increase i would support is the expiration of the Bush cuts. The Bush cuts didn't make a distinction at 200K, so i'm a little worried that it could mean a modification to the brackets. that has me very worried. Maybe the democrats controlling both chambers and the white house isn't such a good thing if dems are throwing around rhetoric like this.

Here's the Binden gaffe you were alluding to...(the $150K mark)
...and don't forget to be patriotic!
That bar will drop to $50K at this rate lol
/feels sorry for you guys...

Nice. You're a fucking racist.
Your credibility is completely nullified. I hope you help yourself some day.

Maybe you should re-analyze the audience you have chosen to hang around with.

Sorry, how is this racist again?
I'm confused were you referring to the woman in the video or Q5echo? (It's not clear...)

that seems rather useless, mostly because there's so much I could do now to change who I hung out with when I was 18.

That musing is easily applied to quite a few personalities in this forum.
It's obvious that PKC needs an attitude adjustment as well.
It's obvious that jerz didn't grow up on the mean streets of Baltimore where you can get shot for just looking at someone wrong.
Am I saying that it's right? Hardly. But that's the way that it was and kind of still is.

Yeah, but to each his own.
When my dad was harrassing my mom after they got divorced, my grandfather told her that he wanted to have my dad "taken care of." lol
Thankfully she screamed, "NOOOOOOOO!!"
I'm just glad that I peronally grew out of being a teenage thug and am now extremely chill.

I've actually been shot at in Baltimore, so with this I can empathize.

I mean it is no secret that Obama voters are freeloaders. These are people that couldnt make it on their own in real life, since they failed, they want someone to lean on. That is why they want to vote for Obama, this applies to all the members here that support Sen. Obama. They are people with low self esteem that dont have the courage to go out in the real world and accomplish their goals. For some reason, they hate Bush because he hasnt given anything for free.

Much of the crime here has to do with the heroin trade so for that I'm sure we can thank the CIA.
It's like an extension of thesis/antithesis/synthesis where they declare a "war" on something and then profit from it by playing both sides.
