All the listed points make sense. Radio shows and hosting big events such as Ibiza, white party, are one of the most important things. People get to know the Djs they like more by listening to their weekly podcasts or shows. Coming up with a huge commercial anthem is another factor, Ive seen a lot of people on those forum requesting Djs who had 1 or big tunes.

People on that list are there because:

- they have hugely popular radio shows (a must these days)
- they host nights in Ibiza
- they host other succesfull nights around the world
- they dominated the charts for their specific genre, with probably a dozen or so hit (top 10) tracks in the last year, if not more
- they had a huge commercial anthem
- put out a major album
- they tour thursday to saturday around the world every week. If they have a lighter touring schedule, they probably fill stadiums without flinching.
- they did something really cool recently that was all the rage.

If the artist hasn't done most of those things In the last year then they probably won't make the list."

+1

I would add:

* Headline a major festival/party
* Owns a succesful record label

I stopped thinking much about the list long time ago...but for once I think its not a bad top 150...yes there are a lot missing...and a lot of ppl should be in one place and some on another...but yeah, the list is not only bout mixing and productions...it entitles image and so on and so forth....
