What the heck was everyone listening to last night. Despite some good moments, that was one of the weaker MO set I've heard in a while. I didn't think Sharam's set was all that bad. There were some ups and downs but it was not exactly boring. His set wouldn't exactly get any better even if he could somehow try harder anyway if you don't like his style. I agree that the drink was solid all the way though.

Sharam was pretty good, but I was there to see the gallery and was disappointed. I'll be back soon enough to see it's return. The Drink totally made up for the night.
I can't remember who mentioned this earlier but The Drink has been sounding awesome for the last few months. It's perfect with earplugs

Sorry to hear about the Gallery situation
I can't believe people are arguing about plumbing. LOL
Fun night. Obviously started on a low note seeing as our event in Gallery was a no go, and I also spent all day preparing my music for my set... was so pumped. Such a let down, but them's the breaks.
Some drink tickets and a bottle of vodka cured my blues pretty quickly though. Spent the entire time in the drink. It was rocking up there! Manzone was kind enough to let me play a few tracks which was dope.

caught the end of marks set...didn't really hear enough to give a valid opinion. It sounded decent enough
Sharam came on earlier than i expected him to but it seemed to me like he took a while to find his flow. Once the sound issues were resolved (this is becoming a regular occurance) the night picked up slightly. Unfortunately, the rest of his set sorta went on the same pattern. Good music for 45 minutes followed by 15 to 20 minutes of no direction. Then another good spell of music and so on.
By 4.45 am i couldn't decide if i had liked his set or not but since I'd been in the hellhole of the mainroom dancefloor for the last 3 hours, i figured it was probably not all that bad.
guv was jam packed as expected. We had to park behind the toronto star building...wtf...lol. another interesting scene was seeing 9 tow trucks and 2 cop cars going ballistic towing everything in sight on the street between the lcbo parking lot and the train tracks. just hillarious. gotta feel kinda bad for those who came out of a sardine can guvernment probably just wanting to go home and rest only to find their car missing and as i noticed at 5am replaced by another car (others had parked there afterwords). wish i had a camera...9 tow trucks!!!! LOL
best costume for me was: DAFT PUNK !!!
was good except for aggressive security. i got thrown out the club because someone decided to leave drugs on a seat behind me. i wasnt touching them, they werent with my stuff, i didnt even know what the fuck it was. im going to managment to complain. they think they are cops or something.
if i have a complaint for the guv who should i go speak to and when??
and sharam was playing wikid house music everytime i see him he rocks it

keep going past tanja.
Gallery is where Charlies used to be... a little bigger though as they ripped out old kitchen from when charlies was a restaurant and made that a seating area.
You must not go to Guv very often. It's 3 years this month since Gallery officially opened.
