This will be my 4th year in a row and I have had more fun each time, especially listening to some of these do's and don'ts help out a lot
a lot of great advice has already been given but here is my take:

DO:
-go to atleast one pool party
-go to the Space terrace at least once
-bring comfortable shoes, you are on your feet a lot
-drink tons of water and try to atleast eat and sleep a little (although i hardly listen to this advice, lol)
-make a list of stuff to bring and check it over, sucks to forget something, miami is an expensive city, better to bring what you need
-room with others or stay at a hostel
-buy pre-sales when you can, it saves you $$$ and often headaches
-get to clubs early, better to chill inside w/fewer people having a drink and waiting for the night to start than waiting forever outside in a stupid, long ass slow moving line
-try and venture out alone and meet new people, always one of my favorite things to do!!!
-go to the parties YOU want to go to and not follow your friends around, trust me, you will meet other people!
-have fun, take it all in stride and make the most out of the week you are there
-DEFINITELY give yourself atleast a day to recover, in miami preferably, and just chill on the beach
-go see lee burridge and steve lawler, if you like them
-attend Sunday School for Degenerates if you dare
-expect to see fcked up djs wandering around miami or roaming around parties

Don't:
-go to a party just b/c your friends are(see i mentioned it twice)
-expect to have many brain cells left after the week
-expect to look normal on sunday
-expect your clothes to fit you the week after miami i could pull my jeans off without unbuttoning them by sunday
-go crazy your first day/night there, slow and steady wins the race
-be a dick respect others fun at parties
-forget anything on your list(see above, lol)
-forget condoms
-forget where you are staying
-get taken advantage by the cab drivers, know where your going and basically how to get there and discuss price
-book your return flight home so that you have to leave a club during a party to go catch your flight, you will just simply die on the plane, way too much pain, trust me!

that's all i can think of now, but there is still tons i'm sure. it's always such a fun week/weekend and i plan on going every year that i can. i love miami and that week is just packed full of fun and amazing djs and parties. i always meet so many new people and always run into half of the LA EDM scene it seems every year.

Ok, I was hoping somebody would elaborate on this if possible. Dont packages get inspected?

I'd be careful this year. And I wouldn't mention stuff like this on the forum any further. I have a gut feeling, that UPS/FedEx/USPS will be a little more curious about what is going into Miami that particular week.

I wouldn't risk it. Its a Federal crime. I work for a criminal defense law firm, we have a client that will most likely get 10-15 years for receiving 13 grams of opium from Turkey sent via Fed Ex. (1 gram of opium is equal to 40something grams of marijuana in the eyes of the law)

It tripped me out, however a club security guard (no names) gave me a Yozer in the bathroom. lol

I know of another (no names) that is crazy enough to walk through airport security with a bag full! (you know who you are! lol )
