What do you Canadians have against McCain, other than the fact that he is a Republican?

Anything bush or off the bush is off the gheyyyyyyyyy and people dont want to risk anything anymore. They want change and lets hope this guy does what he says and doesnt find enemies abroad and try to fix more internal problems within the country rather than trying to be GOD and control the whole world.

Well, props to McCain for at least going out graciously in defeat. His concession speech (in progress) is very congratulatory and sincere and he didn't like the booing of Obama very much. I don't think he liked the negative tactics during the campaign, but he really had to shift to the right to win the support of the GOP base. He would have been a far better president than Bush eight years ago, but this was clearly the Democrats' time.

Congratulations to Barack Obama though. As an historian, this is definitely a significant moment in American history. I just hope that Obama can get through what is sure to be a very difficult first term.

Yep. Very gracious.
I don't have anything against Mccain myself, just some of his policies didn't make sense to me.

Who gives a fuck. You could put a pilon in place of GW; in this case, a black pilon will do just fine.
