been playing on expert. super fun when your team mates know what they're doing. not when they run around counterstrike style.

REALLY lovin' this game. More than anything I've played in the past year AT LEAST. So much that I get all happy when I'm driving home at the end of the day so I can play L4D, if even only for a few minutes.

The Versus mode is off the hook! It's incredibly fun playing the Infected, and almost as fun playing the survivors vs human controlled baddies. The Boomer is awesome...you have to be like a fatass ninja...wait in the shadows, then sneak up and BAAARRRFF all over the humans! Pure AWESOME!

And the Tank...never been so excited as when you get randomly selected to play as the Tank. Just run around causing havoc and laying waste to the humans! RAWR!

our pc is not crash hot but it runs half life 2 pretty decently, could i play this?

The source engine has always been very scalable to hardware. I'm sure you'll be able to run the game at a playable state, I just can't comment on what it will look like.

I played it below the minimum requirements, and it still runs VERY smoothly.
The game makes me very dizzy with motion sickness. The same happens with Doom3 and AVP. Must be the tremendous amounts of black ?

too repetitive, too linear, not enough weapons, zombies aren't really that fun.

the game is good 3-4 runs, after that it's just meh.

pissed i spent 50$ on this. should have saved that for the PC version of GTA:IV coming out in about a week or two

The PC version was sold for $20!

well i think past ones have been a little over rated i didnt think vice city was that good gta 3 was better really liked san andreas though. I will get gta 4 in a few months or something see what its like it be good fun.

I've been playing since the beginning, when they used the top down view. San Andreas was my favorite. Everything fun about San Andreas is gone in GTAiv. I had no desire to explore the city. I just did my missions, occasionally I did the side stuff, like dating. The story was okay and I just think that the genre is getting tired. It's the same thing over and over and over.

yeah but valve always update their games there will be plenty of updates for this in the future probably be much bigger game.
Team fortress 2 was $50 when it first come out i think originally it only had 3or4 maps theres more than enough out there now.

People have said that GTAIV doesn't have nearly the replay value of San Andreas. But its hard to knock R* for that when they did such an incredible job with the visual detail of the game. Basically, comparing IV to San Andreas is like comparing San Andreas to GTA3; IV is the beginning of a new era for the franchise, and the following sequels will add a lot more content that will make people want to explore the city a lot more.

true.. but they took away one thing i enjoyed the most out of the game.. taxi driving. however I'm not even 50 % done with it yet so I dont know if the main character gets to do that later.
