fayraree: I watched Soulja's response awhile back and I could barely stomach it. I think he was talking a lot of fucking garbage and hes a total fucking retard with no respect at all. He thinks because that one fucking song of his he's now god. Get the fuck out. Ice-T said it best and I was really glad he spoke out like that, pretty much all of what he said is true. The state of hiphop is terrible with all this garbage flooding it. Granted there's still a bit of good shit getting made but definitely not enough attention on it.

I caught his last tour and the stadium was half-empty by the end of his set. He is a good producer, but his attitude & egomania are pretty harsh. His 10 minute motivational speech before his encore didn't help much, either.

I did consider it was just some stupid idea at publicity but personally I don't see what difference it makes though.

The fans are still going to worship him regardless and it just makes the people like me think even less of him. I think people who weren't already aware of him are just going to think he's a dick.

I understand the mantra that there is no such thing as bad publicity but that only really goes for people for reality TV stars or people who have nothing else going on in their lives. He has a tour going on, some album, he may or may not have assaulted a photographer just last week etc.
