And since someone else mentioned Pearl Jam - they did a killer cover of it too

yeah my gf loves this song, and has the exact same guitar.

My favourite version is from 'Live at Benaroya Hall: October 22nd 2003' ...the crowd singing the bridge and the way Eddie comes back in - epic. Shame there's no video for it.

This is also another one of my favorites. Apparently Pearl Jam never wanted to make music videos because they wanted to create there own exposure instead of ride the MTV wave of fame.

I don't wana be a dick but the song is actually called Baba O'Riley. It's one of those songs that everyone always mislabels, such as labeling Pink Floyd - Brain Damage as Pink Floyd - The Dark Side of the Moon.

My favorite song would probably have to be Symbol Song by Dredg

This is one of those shitty homemade youtube vids, but you get the idea

Posted by chimera66 on Nov-20-2008 22:55:

umm maybe andrea boccelli & sarah brightman - time to say goodbye (con te partiro) or maybe ravel - bolero...too many songs to pick from actually

Posted by elFreak on Nov-20-2008 22:56:

al green - let's stay together.

not only does it reinforce my blackness, but it is the greatest panty remover track in history.

Posted by Slylee on Nov-20-2008 22:57:

can we at least have one favorite within each genre?

it's only fair

i'll be back i need to think about this

no.

if you can't think of one immediately then you obviously don't have one.

shame on you.

theres a few english demo's of their songs. par godina za nas, zemlja. theyre decent but the lyrics suffer in comparrisson to the originals. gives you an insight into what it would've been like if they went international though. imo they couldve been up there with some of the biggest bands of that era
