-- Nintendo Wii, please return my spare time back to me

The only really fun thing for Wii is Tennis in Wii Sports. Everything else I've played for it is completely generic, but that's only a few games. Rock Band was fun though.

I'll probably get shit on for this, but graphics really do create a better sense of immersion in the game. This isn't 2001 anymore, Nintendo.

The damn thing costs as much as (or more) than an Xbox 360 and has vastly inferior hardware.

huuuuge +1. my bf picked it up for us last week since we needed something to play together after super mario galaxy. it's stupidly simple and so much fun. we completed one level and then spent the rest of the time fighting each other in the batcave! lol

How are your tennis skillz habibi!!?!

Bc I need a challenge. Defeated Jay and Sam. Are you going to challenge me next?

After reading the above posts, 2 things have come clear because of Wii.

1- Playing Wii will make you a champion wanker, regardless you are righty or lefty.

2- Women play Wii to releases the tension within them by beating their BFs, Fiancs, Husbands or all of them.

Oh Wii, how I wish you'd never entered my life!

On the plus side, I have the right arm of a champion wanker

hahaha every sentence in this post made me laugh! thanks for the giggle, rachel!! <3 <3

Rachel kicks butt in bowling esp Guitar Hero!

I'm pretty good for a first timer.

Posted by KaiLee on Nov-22-2008 08:45:

When Rock Band and Guitar Hero for Wii came out my life was declared officially over.

It's so fun to have friends over and have drinks while playing Wii vs going out to a club sometimes!!

yeah we have both

the difference is...

xbox 360 has zero girl appeal - it is a true gamer's console, the only reason i ever touch that thing is for world championship table tennis - nintendo wii offers software that appeals to the masses and in a completely brand new format, and that's why it is >

although something like call of duty 4 would be graphically superior to mario galaxy, the fact remains COD4 remains viable in a very niche market, whereas super mario galaxy my 5 year old cousin and my mother play simultaneously

LoL, I beat Katy in like ten straight games of tennis while I was sitting down last night.

Drove her nuts

Speaking of Wii bowling. What's your high scores in bowling?

I bowled a 273 when I was mashed on shrooms one night, and haven't come CLOSE ever since. guttered my first shot, knocked em all down on my next shot for the spare, then threw 7 strikes in a row!

Good luck playing baseball with a guy on shrooms though, you got 2 seconds to throw the ball before their mind is somewhere else LOL.

Thats the way I was playing (and WINNING for like an hour straight) while INCREDIBLY inebriated at Knox's a bit back...

...and then my mojo left me, I reached the breaking I guess. lol

Playing (and winning) while sitting down when the other is standing = BEST EVER.

Not in tennis I am afraid, in a Mario board game thingy. I have to say, Sam the Computer Game Champ was not impressed

We should definitely arrange a tournament!!! I would go out first round though...

I play Wii every day. Wii Sports Fitness tests were a daily occurance. My favourite was target practice for golf. We play tennis and baseball a lot also. Hah, we made soo many mii's to fill our baseball teams! I must say tho, Wii Sports has been pushed aside since we picked up a Wii Fit for my birthday. Its awesome, and has definitely made it easy to add working out to my day. I can easily do an hour work out every day if I wanted. Wii definitely gets 2 thumbs up. Also, we downloaded Sonic the Hedgehog and we play that on it also lol. Next is Tetris Party!

I have yet to even play on a wii. I really need to invest in one I think. It could be a ton of fun and a good way to pass time
