WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH ALTITUDE - EXCESSION?!?!?

ugh
that's the only track ive ever had trouble mixing in because of the bpm change...fucking christ!

Yeah, ditto! It's a right pain in the arse to mix. If you have the Judge Jules set from Qontact from about a year ago, you can hear he has trouble with it as well, mixing out of The Green Martian - Industry into Excession.

Aright listen you piece of shit!!! If you understand how hard I had to work and how long I had to save just to get them..you would understand. Who the fuck do you think you are making comments like that? I worked for 4 months in a shitty Supermarket job making $7.25 an hour. I saved EVERY DIME I made from that job for FOUR MONTHS! That was 4 months with out buying clothes, no shoes, no eating out with friends, no going out...NOTHING. Every second i was at my job, I was dreaming of owning 1200's. The whole time I was soo tempted to just buy some inferior decks like Stantons, but with the advice of this board..i decided to wait it out. And Finally have them and I am happier than anything. I'm sorry for going off like this...but next time, use your head before you make stupid comments.

I'm not sure exactly why people are complaining about not being able to beatmatch certain songs. I know that others are harder than other and some tracks will only mix well with a couple of other tracks, but that is part of being a DJ. What is the point and where is the talent if all you had to do is beat match a 4/4 track into another 4/4 track with out any suprises--ever. This is why beatmatching is only a very small part of djing--of course it's the first part that everyone learns, but it is only the begining. Try pitch shifting on the fly or throwing in a solo beat or two from the cue track then shift over all the sudden at the end of the last phrase of the live track. There are as many techniques to mix hard tracks as there are hard tracks to mix. Use them as a challange to learn new techniques and as a way to make your style original!

Wow, an argument with burns that doesn't involve me!!
Amazing!

OK, some songs that are hard to mix into:

Dutchforce - Deadline (it just starts off, no intro)
Veracoche - Carte Blanche

dont most songs have the high hats/snares on the 2nd/4th beat? As for Flight 643, i think that's one of the easiest songs to mix out/into because it can be matched to almost any progressive/trance song out there and the intro lasts a long time for you to do seamless mixing
