Yea, that has been in discussion for well over a year now. We will eventually be getting some of the back catalog out, some as soon as next year.

The problem for the immediate future is that much of the past catalog is tied up with the other labels. If you will remember, Perfecto was always partnered up with other labels, mainly Warner back in the trance hay-days. So many of the rights are tied up with them. We are working on it and figuring out what and when we can move on most of the back catalog.

Nice one, looking forward to this. Are you planning for the releases to be available from the perfecto website or through digital sites like Beatport etc??

It was featured on Essential Millenium back in 1999 and was also played during one of Oakenfold's Essential Mixes. In addition, someone on Discogs claims to have the vinyl release of it.

It sounds very Andy Grayish and was featured in Fifa 2001.

Hope that helps?

Got both the emix and the comp, its so annoying when a qaulity track like this never comes out proper

Posted by LittleGoku on Nov-26-2008 23:59:

KT,

That tune is decent at best, IMO.

I'd like to see Oakenfold finally tag the tunes below with a release date:

I'll easily pay very very good money for any of these:

Patient Saints- Til your heart is mine
Paul Oakenfold- Hypnotised (Perc Remix)
Skip Raiders- Come Back to Me (the star wars perfecto tune people have talked about)
Mystica-Everest (Paul Oakenfold 2004 Creamfields Mix)
Paul Oakenfold - Time Of Your Life (Trailer Trash Remix)
Lil Kwan- Point Zero (Matt Darey's For Oakenfold Only Mix 2003; Played in Amsterdam,Holland -Heineken Thirst Paradiso)

What happened Oakenfold?

I like how this is slowly turning into a "put an Oakenfold request through Kenneth Thomas" thread.

Apparently the Discogs 12" is a poor-quality bootleg. Regarding the actual record, the hunt will continue for that one...

Oakey has nothing to do with Patient Saints even if one of their tracks has been released on Perfecto years ago. He's probably just one of the very few people who's been given a copy of the track so in the end it's not really up to him to get it released.

Patient Saints is a rather mysterious trance project by Salt Tank's David R. Gates & Astralasia's Marc Hunt as only one of their many tracks and remixes has ever been released officially or overall in any format.

So it doesn't look too promising to get "Til Your Heart Is Mine" released either...

This should become the official thread for such things.

KT I know this is a long shot but can you by any chance ask Oakie if he still got Bunkker - Descent laying around? That was futured on one of his compilations but never released. A shame since it's a hell of a tune.

Speaking about Bunker this can't be true?

Bunker featured in a obscure russian comp? http://www.discogs.com/release/1344501

Posted by keithos27 on Nov-27-2008 16:06:

^I'm willing to put money down that Discogs is incorrect on which Bunker that actally is... just like Bunker - Galaxy isn't really Oakenfold either.

Hey Jeff good to see you posting again! This comment just made me very happy, haha. I was reading through the submission's history and it looked a bit suspect.

KT, any information on, or a possibility of a release for Virus - Hypnotise (Talisman and Hudson Remix)

I know it got tied up in legal stuff with the demise of Perfecto Fluoro but I think this has to be one of the best vocal tracks out there and I know a lot of people would love a full release.

Thanks for your hard work.

Is that the same virus as the Oak/Osborne alias?

YES! But still this thread is ridiculous, haha.

KT any way you can just digitize Oakenfold's entire vinyl collection and get all the legal stuff worked out too? K, thx.

Yes.

This track appears on Oakenfolds New York GU on the second CD.

I know a lot of the requests in here are insane, but just any information from the source if this is ever possible would stop a very long obsessive search for me...

Posted by keithos27 on Nov-29-2008 18:30:

^ i hear you man, but think about it... it's an old tune, most djs wouldn't play it out now, and only a few insane people like you and i would ever buy a copy... otherwise it's just an old relic at this point. probably too much work to get it cleared, released, etc.

Posted by Stephen Wiley on Nov-29-2008 19:06:

I'm cutting the virus tune up and structuring it to sound as normal as possible for a "full" tune. I ripped it from my CD so it will be good quality. Just need to get my lazy @$$ to work. i'll post it when i'm done.

Posted by LittleGoku on Nov-29-2008 21:22:

I want Aria - Green Eyes!

Oakenfold has it hidden in his treasure chest.
