thank God this morning had no storm ... monday morning + major storm = bs
So happy to see no snow or slush on the roads, but last night around 11:45pm here in Brampton there was a lot of slushie ice on the roads props to those salt trucks to clear everything by morning I saw couple of them clearing the slush on hurontario.....Good job guys.
yup. looks like we dodged a bullet!
Toronto almost always does. Sometimes when I look at the radar, a storm actually goes around the city, it is just amazing to see. A giant cloud coming for TO, then vanish, nothing over the city, but everything around it is covered. Next time I see it, ill take screen shot and post.
I was really hoping for some snow. All this dark crappy weather is depressing. At least snow makes things look a little nicer.
The stupid news was going on all day yesterday about the impending doom, that is a snow storm. Everybody coming into the city should get a card that reads: "This is Canada, it snows, get used to it".
so gehy
I was expecting to wake up to epic whiteness...but we barely got another inch, all the roads are clear, and it's relatively mild out. It was snowing sideways when I left work at 11pm last night...guess it turned to rain while I was sleeping.
mother nature playin TRIX on US AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
buhahhahahahahhahahahahahaha

Good call on the warning boss. theres so much snow here in toronto i can barely get outta my driveway!!
Kitchener got a decent amount.. enough to shovel this morning but not an epic amount.
It is going to be one long ass winter.
bumped
Until the professional thread starters create a new and more updated one for this big snow storm alert!
this one is in full force already in niagara!!
It's about to start snowing in NYC... This storm is a monster!
UGH
i actually got to work in less time than it usually takes me! guess people are trying to stay off the roads cuz of the snow which means less traffic....coming home tonight @ rush hour however, will be a different story im assuming...
One thing in favour snow storms... I love the omnipresent silence that comes along with them.

But alriiiiiiight, early start to the weekend.

| Originally posted by magikb I was very happy to get out of work early today. They closed all the branches in the region at 2pm. The drive home wasn't too bad though. I didn't get stuck until my parking lot |
