ugh the thing I was looking at wasn't it. I am fucking lost on what to do. And since it affects both IE and FF, I just can't figure this shit out.

Another weird thing I noticed is that whenever I'm on an external connection (my house), and I haven't activated the VDI client, my computer won't even open FF, and IE gets stuck. I have to kill it in task manager to be able to close it. Once I get the client running, they open up just fine.
When I try to open FF, I get a prompt that says that FF is already running and I must kill the process in Task Manager or Restart windows in order to be able to open it. When I go to TM, there is no FF process open. And restarting doesn't help either.
What the fuck is this thing?

haha awesome you guys use the Cisco VPN client. They have obviously rebranded it (Wells Fargo does the same) as something else, but it is exactly that.
Honestly, something sounds amiss. When I worked for Wells Fargo, we had the exact same client installed, and I could use external connections no problem. Can you save directly to a flash drive?
Oh and are they a good company to work for? (the one you work for
)

| Originally posted by woscar99 Yeah, I can save to a flash drive while I'm here at the office. Haven't tried to do so at home though. There's an external connection here, so I'll try after lunch. Yeah, they are a pretty good company to work for. We have presence pretty much all over the world so that's a big plus cause there's a lot of places you can apply for a position and travelling is involved. Actually, I was a part of the SAP implementation team last year and I got to travel a lot, mostly to Panama. ![]() The crisis has affected us though, as many expats have been sent to their home countries and it's getting a bit harder to get a job at another country too. You see, expats have a lot of benefits as pretty much all of their expenses are paid including a car, rent, etc. |

trying to get around some of these applications is next to impossible. You need access to the front end to change settings and unless u can get that from the IT guys, I don't see an obvious workaround. Doesn't mean you shouldn't try, but it doesn't look good mate
I disagree.
woscar: get me a process list

No seriously, if he gets a workaround and fixes the problem, then he'll be the shit. Until then, he just talks shit on every topic like he's been working in that profession for 20 years...or was the engineer for that particular device or car. Lot's of kiddies act that way.

Just like you trying to find glass headlights for a late model mustang, lol.
