From what I hear on the grapevine, the 'Fixation' cover situation hasnt gone unnoticed and isn't going to be left to slide, actions will be taken..

classic example
1989 : Blackbox - Ride On Time
news flash. artists sample other artists work.
go check out prydz's whole catalog and see how many "originals" you can find.
don't even get me started on P.Diddy or Puff Daddy or whatever the fuck he calls himself now (if we're going down the broader music spectrum).
i guess it's better than recycling or re-arranging the same sounds in a different patterns...
meh who cares. Mark Knight is not relevant. And I've never heard anything not shitty from Funkagenda. They have only slightly more credibility than Deadmau5.

I'd go as far as saying Funkagenda are worse than Deadmau5. I've never heard anything of theirs that has been enjoyable.
Everybody samples from one another, that is fine.
Sample= sound, a short one.
Not a whole freaking tune!
There is a diffrence between copying samples then copy the whole SYNTH and Melody together.
so all those who cry about - everybody do it bla bla bla... yes people sample but not 1 to 1 copy.
The only diffrence in this track then andyling is the start the end, and the sample (which mark prob' worked over time to get it the same sound in order not to credit andy) and the melody is 100% the same.
And don't call me a newbie i've been here before most of you all.

Tons of copy-paste "artists" nowadays...

Tracks that sound like other tracks.. (not done by same producer)

At least they could include Andy Ling in the credits...
When I first heard this I thought... urgh, cover... but are you telling me there are NO credits to Andy Ling anywhere?!?
why didn't they just do it as...
andy ling - fixation (funkagenda & mark night '09 mix)? or whatever? who knows, it might have gotten even MORE promotion that way. and it's the right way to do it. lame.
So what happened? Did Andy Ling bring a suit against them?
Every single song steals the melody from Andy Ling - Fixation
