You could say that there are 3 main strands of DnB: liquid, tech, and jump-up. It isn't exactly like this, but for the sake of excluding most of the "floaty" stuff and the wonky clown tunes, we could say it seems like you are interested in the second type.

I would add neurofunk, darkstep and harstep as they are also quite big. As subgenres, that is.
