Good marketing.
Its really just a smart business move. If donating money to make TTC transport free for the night prevents one person from getting behind the wheel and killing someone and saving the business from getting sued its well worth it.

Great idea! Thanks Charles and Nick! There is a chance I will take you guys up on the offer of free transit on NYE.
Also, bravo for your clever stump up of cash - I hope it pays dividends back to you (and saves a life or two in the process).
As long as no-one tries to call you guys 'heroes' or 'philanthropists of the year', I am hunky dory

Same logic of "Well hun, I can't save the whole planet, so I wont bother recycling -- if you cant kill the big fish, why go after the small ones eh?" |

| Originally posted by Abercrombie +1 is great, but your thinking on your rationale scares the fuck out of me. It's that thinking that made us a nanny state, making everything illegal and banned for just one person, and having the rest of us complain... BUT I GET YOUR POINT!!! |

your mother must not have loved you enough, because i can't think of any
other reason for you turning out to be such a cynical, pathetic idiot.

oh and my problem is not that this is free or who is sponsoring it but rather the rationale you people have about "free transit saving lives"

your problem is that you are an idiot.
