its cause these small little sketchy clubs arent paying off the officials like they should be.

i was just curious, because all "afterhours" club are well known for drugs i.e the skasians at Guvernment

well theres a new thursday night/morning started at basement as of last night and this saturday morn (3am) is their first sat open...

there've been no incidents there and its always good music so u might wanna make a better choice next time..

246live (formerly known as club246) does not host anything at 334.
"club 334" is a booze can on dundas. the venue you're all thinking of that has a night with 246live is club338 on adelaide.

Chances of other clubs getting raided (IMO):

Footwork: club is pretty chill, doesnt have a bad reputation, a raid could happen but I dont think the probability is too high.

Guv: Its too big to conduct a raid of the entire place. I can see them having undercovers in there and searching out dealers and then trying to arrest them individually, but for them to try to search all 3000 people in the club is unrealistic and a waste of police resources, they would easily need like 100 cops and would probably would only end up arresting a small portion of the patrons. Also, I think the guv and the police already sorta have an understanding with each other. I always see the bouncers outside talking to cops, I think they work together to search out dealers or something.

Basement: The place is pretty small and low-key... obviously there is a possibility but probably not high on the police priority list.



PLUS I think they are mainly trying to destroy the club district... ie. going after Richmond street clubs because they want to get rid of the club district. FW is sorta on the outer edge of the club district, Guv is in a totally different area, and so is basement. Therefore I dont think any of these clubs are high on the priority list. They must be spending a lot of money on these raids (the police that is) and they only end up catching a few dealers and only a relatively small portion of drugs, I think the real reason they are spending money on these raids is just to get rid of the clubs in general.

its a discussion that leads to RUMOURS. There is no discussion when we are talking if other clubs (especially mentioning names) could potentially be next.

I did ask the head of swat to define afterhours, since obviously we all club afterhours.

He said they are interested generally in the boozecans at the moment, and thst you can be fined just for knowingly being in one, I think its a 200$ fine.

I think that fine is more often then not given when you piss the cops off, kinda like a fuck you kinda fine..... i was at some bozecan (no idea which one or where it was.... and yes i was clearly in great condition) one nite after Hotel and the cops came in and kicked everyone out and i didnt see them give anyone really a hard time or hand out any tickets

why would they raid basement ?
i've only seen 2 cops walking in there just to check and they left.
plus the crowd is not that sketchy ! i love the place

We picked 334 over CZ...who knew?

Sounds like exactly what they did to republik. Bastards. Do they really have to go to this extreme to go after people drinking a beer after 2am? Seriously whats wrong with this country?

Guv is a lot "cleaner" now, but I've seen ppl doing coke out on the open there a few years back. Someone mentioned that Guv doesn't have a sketchy rep? Well ppl I talk to now still think Sat. nites is like a drug haven there.

I think the place is too big for cops to go in for a search and you know what? They probably are paying those pigs off anyway.
