Kind of cool though huh? I have red that some musicians have used samples from various number stations to give their tracks "this" kinda-spooky extra atmosphere.


I think that Boards of Canada is one of them. I'm not sure but i think that they use a lot of such old weird stuff to accompany their strange moogy-sounding synth-lines, stuff like old radio intermissions, documentary broadcasts and number stations. Its nice.

I found a BOC tune i really like which features some samples with numbers but i can't recognize if its from a number station or just from a kid that counts.





Very nice moogy psychedelic music IMO.

ya, it's from a number station, but it's not on conet. i believe it was one of the autechre guys who recorded it with an hf-receiver.

Miles Davis' "Flamenco Sketches" is hands down the most chill track I have ever heard.
