Well it certainly does explain a lot.

I will never be able to look on you without feelings of pity ever again.

If you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here.

I really liked Armageddon too. Batman & Robin was gay though, with the close up of Robin's crotch when he got his new uniform.

+1.... she's fucking nasty. How does she have a movie career?

She's not ugly one bit! She's unique-looking and pulls off short hair quite well; most likely because she has the accent as well and, as we all know, you can only pull off hair that short if you in some way or another resemble Annie Lennox.

i see the resemblance. also, she is immensely talented. she was awesome in Michael Clayton. I hate her look though, i'll have to agree with jpie there.

I couldn't have walked out of Armageddon. I didn't want to miss a thing.

Err, because she is a good actress.

I liken her more to Beth Gibbons. And that's a more massive compliment than comparing her Annie Lennox.

Stop talking shit about the White Witch from Narnia.

I encourage you to watch it and get back to me.

To put it into perspective, I'd rather watch "Armageddon" and "Batman & Robin" back to back than have to try and make sense of "Young Adam" again.

"Armageddon" and "Batman & Robin" are the only two movies I have ever walked out on in theaters.

One of my professors in college said Pulp Fiction was the only movie he ever walked out on. No one ever knew if he was serious with that statement.

Why wouldn't he be serious? It's an overrated piece of turd.

Over-rated, maybe, but I don't think it's bad enough to be considered a movie one would walk out on. If you do you're just being pretentious.

Posted by jupiterone on Dec-16-2008 17:33:

the music does not fit that trailer at all

That wouldn't surprise me the least actually.

I really like Pulp Fiction, but it has far more to do with some things going on in my life when that movie came out than it does with me actually thinking it's brilliant.

My opinion of Tarantino is pretty well known here.

Any movie about an Anaconda is bar none the worst movie ever.

Hopefully these aren't the things from the movie that were going on in your life:

- keeping a watch up your ass for 2 years
- getting butt-raped by a redneck in a basement
- cleaning up pieces of brain and skull in the back seat of a car
- nearly banging your boss's wife then saving her with an adrenaline shot

Quentin is up there next to Woody and Stanley.

I think what people dislike about his movies is that he brings old " not so popular anymore " movie stars back to the big screen like Foster, Grier , Carradine , Sony Chiba , Travolta and leaves the big movie stars looking like shit ( De niro , Thurman , Keaton)

Which is precisely what I like about his movies because it leaves you that surprise factor never knowing what to expect from him or the characters that are involved in the film.

Also another thing I find that people dislike is the way the story goes is never on a straight time line , which i find it brilliant.

worst movie of 2008 would be "Australia"

and of all times "Cool as Ice "
